Aerosmith , Whitesnake and Black Sabbath considered one of the best shows of the year in Brazil
Olá para todos ..
É com grande satisfação que esse mês que passou , foram um dos melhores do ano no metal . Pois bandas como Aerosmith , Whitesnake e Black Sabbath fizeram um show memorável no Brasil .
Bandas que só quem viveu os anos 70 e 80 sabem do que eu estou falando . O show deles levou uma legião de fans , chegando a lotar estádios e a emocionar tanto as bandas como o público que antes só os ouvia em rádios e em videos na televisão .
No show do Black Sabbath não foi o Ozzy que foi o centro das atenções , mas sim a banda original inteira. O peso das guitarras , mais a atitude no palco , misturado com a voz inigualável do Ozzy levaram todos ao delírio.
Já no show do Whitesnake , David Coverdale quebrou tudo junto com a banda que era lembrada pelos casais apaixonados que ali estavam presentes .
E por fim o mais engraçado , mais emocionante , apaixonante e carismático Aerosmith que chegou botando fogo em tudo fazendo um show inesquecível .
Ainda viram shows mais incriveis tanto no Brasil como no mundo , mas uma coisa que não é diferente é o publico caloroso que sempre existiram em shows de Heavy Metal.

And finally the funniest , most exciting , passionate and charismatic Aerosmith setting fire to come at all making an unforgettable show .
Still saw most incredible shows in Brazil and in the world , but one thing that is different is the audience warm that have always existed in Heavy Metal concerts .

Yngwie Malmsteen
Para quem ainda não conhece esse grande cantor eis aqui um pouco sobre a vida e carreira dele .
Yngwie Malmsteen, nome artistico de Lars Johan Yngwie Lannerbäck, (Estocolmo, 30 de junho de 1963), um dos grandes guitarristas suecos que se tem noticia .
Lars Johann Yngwie Lannerback nasceu em Estocolmo, Suécia, 30 de junho de 1963. Guitarrista conhecido por sua incrível velocidade e virtuosismo, teve aulas de piano e trompete e aos 5 anos ganhou seu primeiro violão, que ficou parado até 18 de setembro de 1970 quando viu um especial na TV sobre a morte de Jimi Hendrix. O que lhe chamou a atenção não foi a técnica de Hendrix mas sim o momento em que ele pôs fogo em sua guitarra após quebrá-la.
Aplicando sua intensa curiosidade e tenacidade primeiro com uma velha guitarra Mosrite e depois com uma guitarra Stratocaster, Yngwie entrou na música de bandas como Deep Purple. Sua admiração pelas influências clássicas de Ritchie Blackmore levaram-no a conhecer Bach, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Mozart e Paganini, entre outros compositores.
Malmsteen detém o chamado "ouvido absoluto" que é a capacidade de distinguir notas musicais seja qual for a fonte, capacidade que poucos possuem no cenário musical
Quando tinha 7 anos adotou o sobrenome de sua mãe, Malmsteen, passou a dedicar todas as suas energias para a música e parou de ir para a escola. Na escola era sempre considerado "arrumador de problemas", brigava frequentemente e só ia bem nas matérias que realmente gostava: Inglês e Artes.
Sua mãe, reconhecendo seus talentos musicais permitiu que ficasse em casa com seus discos e sua guitarra.
Com 10 anos ele abandonou totalmente a escola e trabalhou como luthier. Escalopou a escala de uma guitarra e trocou os trastes por super jumbo Dunlop 6000 e ficou impressionado com os resultados.
Viria a aplicar isso em guitarras melhores e as usa desta forma até hoje. Começou a tocar em várias bandas e quando tinha 18 anos gravou uma demo e enviou para várias pessoas, inclusive ao fundador da gravadora Shrapnel. Terminou sendo chamado para Los Angeles para entrar na banda Steeler.
No começo de 1983, logo que se mudou para os EUA entrou para o Steeler, banda do qual também fazia parte o vocalista Ron Keel, gravou apenas um álbum, fez alguns shows e logo a banda encerrou as atividades, em agosto foi para o recém-formado Alcatrazz, uma banda no estilo do Rainbow e fundada por um ex-Rainbow e ex-Michael Schenker Group, o vocalista Graham Bonnet.
Em julho de 84 após o fim da turnê sai da banda, apesar de ter feito nessa banda alguns dos seus melhores solos, como Jet to Jet e Hiroshima Mon Amour, ficou provado que seu trabalho ainda estava limitado e o único jeito seria seguir uma carreira solo. Em seu lugar Graham Bonnet chamou ninguém menos que Steve Vai.
Em janeiro de 1984 após uma turnê no Japão ainda com o Alcatrazz, Malmsteen recebeu uma proposta da gravadora Polydor que ficou impressionada com o talentoso guitarrista e ofereceram um contratato para gravar um album solo, imediatamente logo que voltou do Japão ele então entrou no Plant Estúdio em Los Angeles e começou a gravar seu album, como ele já tinha idéias de músicas prontas o processo foi muito rápido.
O primeiro álbum solo de Yngwie, "Rising Force" saiu em 15 de março de 84, entrou nas paradas da Billboard no 60º lugar, uma ótima marca para um disco quase todo instrumental, com apenas 2 faixas cantadas. Esse álbum ganhou uma indicação para o Grammy e várias votações em revistas como "revelação", "melhor guitarrista", etc. Seus duelos com o tecladista Jens Johansson (Stratovarius) fizeram nascer um novo estilo musical: o metal neoclássico, mais tarde chamado de Baroque & Roll.
O álbum foi gravado em Los Angeles e a produção foi de Malmsteen. O baterista foi o experiente Barriemore Barlow que tocou no Jethro Tull por 10 anos, o tecladista foi Jens Johansson e o vocalista foi Jeff Scott Soto que gravou apenas os vocais em uma única música no disco, o baixo foi gravado pelo próprio Malmsteen.
Em janeiro de 85, em um dos primeiros shows da banda é registrado um video na íntegra no Japão, posteriormente lançado em dvd, uma curiosidade, apesar do primeiro álbum ser praticamente todo instrumental, na turnê de divulgação a banda tocava muitas músicas letradas, que estariam presente no próximo álbum, além de covers do Alcatrazz.
Já em seu segundo álbum "Marching Out", lançado em setembro de 1985, apenas 3 faixas eram instrumentais. O álbum, com muito peso e agressividade, também foi elogiado e chegou a atingir o 54º lugar da Billboard. A formação foi Jeff Scott Soto nos vocais, Jens Johansson nos teclados, Anders Johansson na bateria e Marcel Jacob no baixo. Pouco tempo antes da turnê começar Jeff e Marcel saem da banda, entram Mark Boals e Wally Voss respectivamente, uma curiosidade, no clipe da música "I See The Light Tonight" aparece Mark Boals cantando mas o áudio foi gravado por Jeff Scott Soto. O álbum foi gravado em Los Angeles e a produção foi de Malmsteen.
As composições neo-clássicas de Yngwie alcançaram novas alturas em 1986 no álbum "Trilogy". Até os dias de hoje esse é um dos seus discos favoritos, tanto nas letras quanto musicalmente. É conhecido por inaugurar o que seria conhecido como "metal moderno".
A formação foi Mark Boals, Jens Johansson nos teclados e Anders Johansson na bateria, o baixo foi gravado pelo próprio Malmsteen, para a turnê quem tocou foi Wally Voss, uma curiosidade, pouco antes do lançamento do álbum, no fim de 86, Mark é demitido da banda por discussões com Malmsteen, então quem canta na turnê é Jeff Scott Soto. O álbum foi gravado em Los Angeles e a produção foi de Malmsteen.
No ano seguinte, no dia 22 de junho de 1987, bateu seu Jaguar e passou uma semana em coma, além de perder alguns movimentos de suas mãos. Quando estava se recuperando soube que sua mãe havia morrido de câncer e percebeu que a sua única salvação era a música.
O resultado foi "Odyssey". Não é um dos favoritos de Yngwie, mas que contou com o ex-vocalista do Rainbow, Joe Lynn Turner. O disco foi aclamado por ser mais acessível, atingindo um relativo sucesso com o single "Heaven Tonight", tendo inclusive gravado um vídeo clipe para esta faixa. Da turnê desse álbum saiu seu primeiro disco ao vivo: "Trial By Fire: Live In Leningrad", gravado na Rússia, também foi gravado um vídeo do show. A formação dessa época (1988-89) foi Joe Lynn Turner nos vocais, Jens Johansson nos teclados, Anders Johansson na bateria, e Barry Dunaway no baixo na turnê.
Em 1990 lançou "Eclipse" ainda com um som comercial e com uma formação totalmente diferente, com músicos suecos não muito famosos. A formação tinha Göran Edman nos vocais, Mats Olausson nos teclados, Svante Henryson no baixo e Michael Von Knorring na bateria. O álbum foi gravado em Miami, a produção foi de Malmsteen. Na turnê o baterista foi Pete Barnacle.
Em 1992 lançou o ótimo álbum "Fire & Ice", voltando ao som não comercial com a mesma formação do álbum anterior, exceto pelo baterista Bo Werner. O álbum foi gravado em Miami e Suécia e a produção foi de Malmsteen, o disco teve muitas participações de violinistas e um flautista. Em 26 de dezembro de 1993 casou-se com Amberdawn Landin, de quem viria a se separar em 1996.
No ano de 1994 lançou o disco "The Seventh Sign", que foi comparado ao "Marching Out" pelo seu peso e agressividade. Em setembro e outubro de 1994 a gravadora japonesa Pony Canion lançou dois mini-álbuns ("I Can't Wait EP" e "Power and Glory") e um vídeo ("Live At Budokan"). A formação tinha Michael Vescera nos vocais, Mats Olausson nos teclados e Mike Terrana na bateria, para a turnê foi contratado o baixista Barry Sparks que gravou o EP. A álbum foi gravado em Lauderdale e a produção foi de Malmsteen.
Em dezembro de 1994 Yngwie começou a montar seu próprio estúdio, com os melhores equipamentos e iniciou os trabalhos em seu próximo álbum, "Magnum Opus". Esse disco foi lançado em 1995. A formação foi a mesma do álbum anterior, exceto o baterista, que foi Shane Gaalaas. O álbum foi gravado em Miami e a produção foi de Malmsteen e Chris Tsangarides.
Em 1996 gravou um álbum-tributo com músicas das bandas que o influenciaram. Entre elas: Rainbow, Deep Purple, Rush, etc. O nome desse disco é "Inspiration". Em 1997 Yngwie lançou o álbum "Facing the Animal", considerado por revistas especializadas melhor que seus quatro discos anteriores. O album teve participação dos vocalistas Jeff Scott Soto, Mark Boals e Joe Lynn Turner, dos tecladistas David Rosenthal, Mats Olausson e Jens Johansson, do baterista Anders Johansson e do baixista Marcel Jacob que tocou apenas em 1 música. O álbum foi gravado em Miami e na Suécia, a produção foi de Chris Tsangarides e Malmsteen. Para a turnê a formação foi Mark Boals nos vocais, Barry Dunaway no baixo, Mats Olausson nos teclados e Tommy Aldridge na bateria. Uma curiosidade, no clipe da música "Carry On Wayward Son" do Kansas, Mark Boals aparece cantando no vídeo, mas o áudio quem gravou foi Jeff Scott Soto, isso aconteceu pela segunda vez, a primeira foi no clipe da música "I See The Light Tonight" em 85.
Em fevereiro de 97 é lançado o álbum Facing the Animal, A formação foi Mats Leven nos vocais, Mats Olausson nos teclados e Cozy Powell na bateria, Barry Dunaway no baixo, para a turnê o baterista foi Jonas Ostman.
Em 1998, depois de lançar um álbum com a Orquestra Filarmônica da República Checa, o "Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar and Orchestra in E flat minor Opus1", Yngwie se interessou em fazer uma "Rising Force Reunion". O desejo dele não se concretizou. Alguns músicos que haviam participado dos primeiros álbuns (Rising Force, Marching Out, etc) estavam envolvidos em projetos distintos e outros não tinham mais um bom relacionamento com Yngwie.
Durante este período em que o sueco buscava novos músicos, foi lançado o álbum "Yngwie Malmsteen LIVE!!", gravado em São Paulo durante a turnê de "Facing The Animal". Em 6 de março de 1998, nasceu o primeiro filho de Yngwie, Antonio Yngwie Johann Malmsteen, na cidade de Miami, fruto de seu terceiro casamento.
Com o nascimento do filho, Yngwie amadureceu. Ignorou os problemas com músicos, voltou a usar o nome "Rising Force" e em 1999, ao lado de Mark Boals (vocais), Barry Dunaway (Baixo), John Macaluso (Bateria) e Mats Olausson (Teclados), lançou seu décimo quarto álbum solo, chamado "Alchemy", que passou a ser considerado, por muitos, o melhor trabalho de sua carreira.
Em 2000, foi lançada a coletânea "Anthology 1994-1999", e um álbum inédito no fim do ano, "War to End All Wars". Após alguns shows, Mark Boals deixou a banda, em seu lugar entra Jorn Lande.
Em meados de 2001, Jorn Lande e John Macaluso deixam a banda, Malmsteen recruta então novamente Mark Boals no vocal e Tim Donahue na bateria para continuar a turnê. No fim de 2001 mais mudanças, entram Doogie White no vocal, Derek Sherinian nos teclados, Mick Cervino no baixo e Patrik Johansson na bateria.
Ainda em 2001, shows de Yngwie com orquestra no Japão foram gravados para lançamento em CD e DVD.
Em 2002 lança o álbum "Attack!!". No mesmo ano lança o álbum "Genesis", que consiste de suas primeiras gravações da época em que vivia na Suécia e tinha apenas 17 anos. Muitas dessas faixas foram retrabalhadas para composições de seus álbuns ao longo de sua carreira.
Em outubro de 2003 realizou o sonho de muitos fãs de guitarra ao se juntar a Joe Satriani e Steve Vai, no "G3: Rockin' in the Free World". Dessa união, além de um cd duplo ao vivo, foi lançado também em 2004 o DVD "G3: Live in Denver".
Em 2004 durante a parte final da turnê do Attack, entrou o tecladista Joakim Svalberg e o baixista Rudy Sarzo.
Em 2005 Malmsteen lançou o álbum "Unleash The Fury" e ficou 2 anos em turnê mundial. A formação do album tinha Doogie White no vocal, Nick Marinovich no teclado, Patrik Johansson na bateria, e para a turnê o baixista foi Mick Cervino. Em 2006 o tecladista Derek Sherinian volta e fica até 2007.
Em 2008 é lançado o álbum "Perpetual Flame", contando com o vocalista Tim "Ripper" Owens (ex-Judas Priest e Iced Earth), Michael Troy foi o tecladista, Patrik Johansson na bateria e o baixista da turnê foi Bjorn Englen. A gravadora foi a Rising Force de Malmsteen.
Em 2009 é lançado o álbum "Angels Of Love", um álbum acústico completamente instrumental contendo releituras de antigos clássicos de Yngwie e algumas faixas inéditas. A gravadora foi a Rising Force de Malmsteen.
Em novembro de 2010 é lançado o álbum "Relentless", a formação tinha Tim "Ripper" Owens nos vocais, Nick Marino nos teclados e Patrick Johansson na bateria, para a turnê o baixista foi Bjorn Englen. A gravadora foi a Rising Force de Malmsteen.
Já em 2010 é lançada uma nova coletânea, com uma regravação para "Beat It", de Michael Jackson.
No fim de 2012 o vocalista Tim Owens deixa o grupo e Malmsteen grava seu mais recente álbum Spellbound, onde pela primeira vez assumiu todos os vocais em um álbum.
Durante sua turnê de 2001, Malmsteen passou pelo Brasil e, no dia 2 de outubro, tocou no Bar Opinião, na cidade de Porto Alegre. Após subir ao palco com atraso, Malmsteen tocou o [[The Star-Spangled Banner, de Jimi Hendrix, uma das maiores influências do guitarrista sueco, que contém uma parte do hino dos Estados Unidos, o que provocou vaias do público e gritos entoando "Bin Laden". Malmsteen então parou de tocar, foi ao microfone e reclamou do público. Tentou iniciar a mesma música e foi recebido com mais vaias.
Lembrando que no mês que vem começam os shows dele pelo Brasil e dessa vez ele disse que fará um show tão bom e tão intenso que é para tentar se redimir com o que ele fez a um ano atrás . Basta saber agora se ele realmente cumprirá o que fala .

Lars Johann Yngwie Lannerback nasceu em Estocolmo, Suécia, 30 de junho de 1963. Guitarrista conhecido por sua incrível velocidade e virtuosismo, teve aulas de piano e trompete e aos 5 anos ganhou seu primeiro violão, que ficou parado até 18 de setembro de 1970 quando viu um especial na TV sobre a morte de Jimi Hendrix. O que lhe chamou a atenção não foi a técnica de Hendrix mas sim o momento em que ele pôs fogo em sua guitarra após quebrá-la.

Hoje contarei a vocês sobre a carreira de uma das melhores bandas de Power Metal alemã que existe . O nome dela é Helloween .
Ela é composta por Andi Deris (vocal), Dani Löble (bateria), Sascha Gerstner (guitarra), Michael Weikath (guitarra) e Markus Grosskopf(baixo), sendo esses dois últimos uns dos membros fundadores, junto com Kai Hansen (atual Gamma Ray) e Ingo Schwichtenberg (falecido). É considerada por muitos como a criadora do power metal. Influênciou bandas como Angra, Hammerfall, Stratovarius, Edguy, entre outras.
A história do Helloween começou no final da década de 1970, mais precisamente no ano de 1978. Uma jovem banda alemã, chamada Gentry, que contava com Kai Hansen e Piet Sielck (Iron Savior) como alguns dos membros, foi o embrião para a formação do Helloween. Em 1980, a banda já havia sofrido algumas mudanças de formação e Markus Grosskopf (baixo) e Ingo Schwichtenberg (bateria) já faziam parte do line-up. Nessa época, o nome do grupo não era mais o mesmo: Second Hell foi o primeiro nome utilizado, mas que durou apenas dois meses, quando então eles batizaram a banda com o nome de "Iron First". Nesse período, Piet deixa a banda para se dedicar à produções e engenharia de som, onde entra em seu lugar o ex-Powerfool Michael Weikath. Assim, finalmente deram o nome de "Helloween" para o grupo alemão em 1984.

Primeiras gravações - Helloween EP e Walls of Jerich
Participa de uma coletânea intitulada Death Metal, com as canções "Oernst of Life" e "Metal Invaders", do demo inicial de 1984. Logo depois lançam o seu primeiro trabalho, o EP Helloween (1985) que contém cinco canções: "Starlight", "Murderer", "Warrior", "Victim of Fate" e "Cry For Freedom", com um estilo caracterizado inicialmente como speed metal.
O primeiro álbum da banda vem no mesmo ano, Walls of Jericho, um power metal com nuances de speed metal.
Logo após o lançamento do primeiro álbum, Kai Hansen deixa os vocais e concentra-se na guitarra, deixando o posto para o jovem Michael Kiske, então com 18 anos, oriundo da banda I'll Prophecy. O Motivo era que Kai tinha uma sobrecarga muito grande ao ter que cantar e tocar guitarra ao mesmo tempo, então preferiu somente tocar guitarra.
Com essa formação, o Helloween lança o Keeper of the Seven Keys Part I em 1987, álbum considerado referência no estilo power metal. Um ano depois foi lançado Keeper of the Seven Keys Part II, considerado o melhor álbum da banda.
Esses dois Keepers eram pra ser um só, a banda queria um álbum duplo, mas a gravadora barrou e problemas financeiros também impediram o lançamento do álbum único. Porém, esses álbuns são considerados o que a banda tem de melhor.
É lançado o primeiro disco ao vivo gravado no Reino Unido, que recebe o nome de Keepers Live no Japão, I Want Out Live nos Estados Unidos e Live in the UK no resto do mundo.
Mesmo sendo o mentor e fundador da banda e também considerado como criador do power metal, Kai deixa o Helloween, no início de 1989, por não gostar das imensas turnês. Mas o principal motivo eram seus desentendimentos de ordem musical com Michael Weikath. No início dos anos 1990 cria o Gamma Ray, que é um trabalho de seqüência do que ele estava fazendo no Helloween. Roland Grapow (ex-Rampage) assumiu seu lugar na banda.
Com essa nova formação o Helloween lança Pink Bubbles Go Ape (1991), o primeiro álbum sem Kai Hansen, portanto a banda apostou em uma sonoridade mais acessível. A produção, a cargo de Chris Tsangarides deu uma polida no som.
Chameleon (1993), vem como um álbum muito diferente em relação aos outros, com um estilo caracterizado por elementos clássicos e medievais, além de que a banda arrisca vários estilos musicais: progressivo, acústico, pop, balada e grunge, misturado com elementos de country, música clássica, música sacra e mais. No fundo ouvem-se intrumentos como trompa, sintetizador, órgão e violino. Participaram como convidados músicos conhecidos como Stefan Pintev, Axel Bergstedt e o coral infantil da Orquestra "Johann Sebastian Bach".
Michael Kiske foi despedido da banda por motivos de mau relacionamento com outros integrantes. Depois disso ele segue carreira solo, apostando numa música pop, alem de cooperar com outras bandas. Já Ingo saiu da banda por motivos de saúde (saiu no meio da tour do Chamaleon). Ele sofria de esquizofrenia e suicidou-se atirando-se para a frente de um vagão do metro de Hamburgo, em 1995.
Para substituí-los, são convidados Andi Deris, vocalista vindo da banda de hard rock Pink Cream 69, e Uli Kusch, baterista vindo do Gamma Ray.
Richie Abdel Nabi foi chamado para tocar na banda quando Ingo saiu. Ele ficou apenas na tour do Chamaleon até chamarem Uli Kusch para entrar na banda.
Com uma nova formação (guitarristas: Michael Weikath e Roland Grapow, baxista: Markus Grosskopf, baterista: Uli Kusch e vocalista: Andi Deris), o Helloween volta ao auge lançando o álbum Master of the Rings (1994). Nesse álbum, o Helloween volta um pouco às suas raízes, em um álbum mais pesado que Chameleon, voltando ao antigo estilo power metal e começa a ganhar espaço novamente no cenário metálico mundial, sendo esse o álbum recordista de vendas da banda, vendendo 120.000 cópias em duas semanas.
Em 1996 é lançado The Time of the Oath. É um álbum semitemático que conta a história das profecias de Nostradamus. Neste álbum o som fica mais abrangente, não tão fixado no power metal, passando um pouco pelo hard rock como em "A Million To One", "Wake Up the Mountain e Anything My Mama Don't Like, pelo metal progressivo, em "Mission Motherland" e "The Time of the Oath".
O álbum foi dedicado a Ingo Schwichtenberg, baterista da banda que se suicidou em março de 1995. Com faixas famosas como "Power", "Forever and One", "We Burn", entre outras o qual gera um álbum ao vivo gravado na Espanha e na Itália: High Live, que gerou uma Versão em fita VHS e posteriormente em DVD. Este álbum é considerado como um dos maiores clássicos da história da banda, e assim voltando a ter grande sucesso mundial, onde é escolhida a banda do ano no Japão pela revista Burrrnnn!
Na turnê deste álbum a banda vem pela primeira vez ao Brasil. Pela simpatia dos nipônicos, o Helloween lança um exclusivo para aquele povo: o Pumpkin Box, com quatro CDs que abordam toda a carreira do conjunto.
Continuando na mesma linha do anterior (The Time of the Oath), o Helloween lança o Better Than Raw (1998), encerrando o contrato de gravação com a inglesa Castle, que durava desde o Master of the Rings. O disco é considerado até então o mais pesado com o Andi Deris nos vocais e agrada fãs novos e antigos.
No ano de 1999 a banda lança o álbum Metal Jukebox, somente com covers de sucessos que não são necessariamente relacionados ao metal, mas que influenciaram os integrantes da banda. Com uma música de cada uma das bandas Scorpions, Jethro Tull, ABBA, David Bowie, Faith No More, The Beatles, Focus, Alex Harvey, Frank Marino, Cream, Babe Ruth e Deep Purple.
Assinando contrato com a Nuclear Blast, gravadora da Europa especializada em heavy metal, lançam o álbum The Dark Ride (2000), onde apostam numa sonoridade mais pesada e um pouco obscura. Comparando esse álbum ao seu antecessor (Better Than Raw), as guitarras estão mais pesadas, os riffs mais lentos e graves. As melodias que caracterizaram os álbuns da banda estão menos claras nesse álbum. Pode-se ver o reflexo disso nas letras, mais pesadas que o habitual.
Devido a desavenças internas, Roland Grapow e Uli Kusch saem para formar o Masterplan e para seus lugares são chamados Sascha Gerstner, (ex-Freedom Call) e Mark Cross (ex- Metalium, Firewind recentemente), que, respectivamente, assumem a guitarra e a bateria. Durante a gravação do novo álbum, Mark Cross foi obrigado a sair da banda devido a problemas de saúde, e Mikkey Dee do Motörhead assumiu provisoriamente a bateria na gravação do álbum.
Em 2003 a banda lança Rabbit Don't Come Easy, onde resgata um pouco da melodia antiga. Stefan Schwarzmann, ex-Running Wild e Accept é convidado para participar como baterista da turnê do álbum, saindo da banda após o fim da turnê.
Com a saída de Stephan Schwarzmann, Dani Löble, ex-Rawhead Rexx, é chamado para assumir a bateria.
Em 2005 a banda lança a terceira parte da saga Keeper of The Seven Keys, Keeper of The Seven Keys - The Legacy, um sucesso de vendas no mundo.
Após o lançamento, a banda parte para sua turnê mundial, onde gravaram seu novo DVD ao vivo (intitulado de Keeper of the Seven Keys – The Legacy World Tour 2005/2006 - Live on 3 Continents) na Bulgária, Japão e Brasil. Aqui no país, tocaram em cinco cidades: São Paulo (onde ocorreu a gravação do DVD e do CD), Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre, Curitiba e Santos.
No ano de 2007, o Helloween lança Gambling With the Devil.
Durante a turnê deste álbum, algo histórico também acontece, pois pela primeira vez na história a banda sai em turnê mundial juntamente com o Gamma Ray, banda criada por Kai Hansen que compete com o Helloween o posto de melhor banda alemã, lembrando que Kai foi um dos músicos que originaram o Helloween, ao lado de Michael Weikath e Markus Grosskopf.
Em 26 de dezembro de 2009, no Japão, o Helloween lançou um álbum em comemoração dos 25 anos de lançamento do primeiro disco da banda. O álbum é uma seleção de 10 canções da banda, regravadas acusticamente pela formação atual. Também é apresentado um Medley de 17 minutos chamada "Keeper's Trilogy", gravada pela Orquestra de Praga combinando "Halloween", "Keeper of the Seven Keys" e "The King for a 1000 Years". O título do novo álbum é Unarmed - Best of 25th Anniversary. Há uma edição limitada, incluindo 30 minutos de making of DVD com entrevistas e cenas de estúdio, além da música Why?, regravada acusticamente.
A banda lança também um novo videoclipe com a canção "Dr. Stein", regravada acusticamente no Unarmed.
7 Sinners é lançado em 31 de outubro de 2010. A banda sai em turnê mundial, a 7 Sinners Tour, como headliner ao lado da banda Stratovarius.
Em 11 de agosto de 2011, o Helloween faz o maior show de sua carreira, tocando para uma multidão de mais de 500.000 pessoas como um dos headliners do Woodstock 2011, na Polônia.
Em outubro de 2012, Helloween lança o seu novo single "Burning Sun". E o clipe "Nabataea", no dia 14 de dezembro de 2012.
Chegando perto dos seus 30 anos de carreira, é lançado no dia 18 de janeiro de 2013, o seu décimo sétimo trabalho de estúdio, Straight Out of Hell. Helloween sai em turnê do novo álbum no início de 2013. A Hellish World Tour Part II, em parceria com o Gamma Ray, passa por países da América Latina e América do Norte, pela Europa, Ásia e Oceania, assim como foi feito na Hellish World Tour, ocorrida entre 2007 e 2008. A young German band called Gentry , who had Kai Hansen and Piet Sielck ( Iron Savior ) as some of the members , was the embryo for the formation of Helloween . In 1980 , the band had already undergone some lineup changes and Markus Grosskopf ( bass) and Ingo Schwichtenberg (drums ) were part of the line-up . At that time , the group name was not the same anymore : Second Hell was the first name used , but that lasted only two months, after which they named the band with the name " Iron First" . During this period , Piet left the band to focus on production and sound engineering , where His replacement was former Powerfool Michael Weikath . So finally they called " Helloween " for the German group in 1984 .
First recordings - Helloween EP and Walls of Jerich
Participates in a collection titled Death Metal , with songs " Oernst of Life " and " Metal Invaders " , the original 1984 demo . Soon after launching his first work , the Helloween EP (1985 ) which contains five songs : " Starlight " , " Murderer " , " Warrior " , " Victim of Fate " and " Cry For Freedom " , with a style characterized initially as speed metal.
The band's first album comes in the same year , Walls of Jericho , a power metal with hints of speed metal .
Soon after the release of the first album , the vocals Kai Hansen leaves and focuses on guitar , leaving the job to the young Michael Kiske , then 18 years old, coming from the band I'll Prophecy . The Reason was that Kai had a very big burden to have to sing and play guitar at the same time, then chose to only play guitar .
With this training , Helloween launches Keeper of the Seven Keys Part I in 1987 , considered a benchmark album in the style of power metal . A year after it was released Keeper of the Seven Keys Part II , considered the band's best album .
These two Keepers were to be one , the band wanted a double album , but the label barred and financial problems also prevented the release of the album only . However , these albums are considered what the band does best .
It launched the first live album recorded in the UK , which is called the Keepers Live in Japan , I Want Out Live in United States Live in the UK and around the world .
Even being the mentor and founder of the band and also considered as the creator of power metal Helloween Kai leaves , in early 1989 , not like the huge tour . But the main reason was his disagreements with Michael Weikath musical order . In the early 1990s creates the Gamma Ray , which is a sequence of work he was doing in Helloween . Roland Grapow ( former Rampage ) took his place in the band .
With this new line launches Helloween Pink Bubbles Go Ape (1991 ) , the first album without Kai Hansen , so bet the band in a more accessible sound . The production , headed by Chris Tsangarides gave a polished sound.
Chameleon (1993 ) , comes as an album very different compared to others , with a style characterized by classical and medieval elements , as well as the band ventured various musical styles : progressive , acoustic , pop , ballad and grunge , mixed with elements country , classical music , sacred music and more . In the background you can hear instruments like trumpet , synthesizer, organ and violin . Participated as guests musicians known as Stefan Pintev , Axel Bergstedt children's choir and Orchestra " Johann Sebastian Bach " .
Michael Kiske was fired from the band for reasons of poor relations with other members . After that he goes solo career , focusing on pop music , in addition to cooperating with other bands . Ingo has already left the band for health reasons ( out in the middle of the tour Chamaleon ) . He suffered from schizophrenia and committed suicide by throwing himself in front of a subway car in Hamburg in 1995 .
To replace them , are invited Andi Deris , lead singer from the hard rock band Pink Cream 69 , and Uli Kusch , drummer coming from Gamma Ray
Richie Abdel Nabi was called to play in the band when Ingo left . He was just on tour Chamaleon up call Uli Kusch to join the band .
With a new lineup ( guitarists : Michael Weikath and Roland Grapow , bassist Markus Grosskopf , drummer Uli Kusch and vocalist Andi Deris ) , Helloween back to the heyday releasing the album Master of the Rings (1994 ) . The album was dedicated to Ingo Schwichtenberg , drummer who committed suicide in March 1995 . With famous tracks like " Power " , " Forever and One" , " We Burn " , among others which generates a live album recorded in Spain and Italy : Live High , which generated a version on VHS tape and later on DVD. This album is considered one of the greatest classics of the band's history , and so back to having great success worldwide , which is chosen band of the year in Japan magazine Burrrnnn !
On tour this album the band has for the first time to Brazil . Sympathy for the Japanese people , Helloween launches an exclusive to those people : the Pumpkin Box with four CDs that cover the entire career of the set .
Continuing in the same vein as previous (The Time of the Oath ) , Helloween launches Better Than Raw ( 1998) , ending the recording contract with the English Castle , which lasted from the Master of the Rings . The album is considered so far the heaviest with Andi Deris on vocals and pleasing fans new and old .
In 1999 the band released the album Metal Jukebox , only with covers of hits that are not necessarily related to the metal , but that influenced the band . With a song from each band Scorpions , Jethro Tull , ABBA , David Bowie , Faith No More , The Beatles , Focus , Alex Harvey , Frank Marino , Cream , Babe Ruth and Deep Purple .
Signing a contract with Nuclear Blast Records in Europe specializing in heavy metal , cast album The Dark Ride (2000 ) , where a sound bet heavier and a bit obscure . Comparing this album to its predecessor (Better Than Raw ) , the guitars are heavier , slower riffs and bass . The melodies that characterized the band's albums are less clear on this album. You can see this reflected in the lyrics , heavier than usual .
Due to internal disagreements , Roland Grapow and Uli Kusch out to form the Masterplan and their places are called Sascha Gerstner ( ex - Freedom Call ) and Mark Cross ( ex - Metalium , Firewind recently) , which respectively take the guitar and battery. During the recording of the new album , Mark Cross was forced to leave the band due to health problems , and Mikkey Dee of Motörhead provisionally assumed the battery on the album .
In 2003 the band released Rabbit Do not Come Easy , which rescues some of the old tune . Stefan Schwarzmann , ex - Running Wild and Accept is invited to participate as tour drummer on the album, leaving the band after the end of the tour .
With the departure of Stefan Schwarzmann , Dani Löble , ex - Rawhead Rexx , is called to take the battery .
In 2005 the band released the third part of the saga of The Seven Keys Keeper , Keeper of The Seven Keys - The Legacy , a sales success in the world .
After the release , the band leaves for her world tour , where they recorded their new live DVD ( titled Keeper of the Seven Keys - The Legacy World Tour 2005/2006 - Live on 3 Continents ) in Bulgaria , Japan and Brazil . On December 26, 2009 , in Japan , Helloween released an album in celebration of 25 years since the launch of the first disc of the band . The album is a selection of 10 songs from the band re-recorded acoustically by the current lineup . Medley also presents a 17-minute call " Keeper 's Trilogy " , recorded by the Orchestra of Prague combining "Halloween " , " Keeper of the Seven Keys " and "The King for a 1000 Years" . The title of the new album is Unarmed - Best of 25th Anniversary . There is a limited edition , including a 30-minute making-of DVD with interviews and studio scenes , besides music Why ? , Rewritten acoustically .
The band is also launching a new music video with the song " Dr. Stein " , re-recorded acoustically in Unarmed .
7 Sinners is released on October 31, 2010 . The band goes on tour worldwide, 7 Sinners Tour , as headliner alongside the band Stratovarius .
On August 11, 2011 , Helloween is the biggest show of his career , playing to a crowd of over 500,000 people as one of the headliners of the 2011 Woodstock in Poland .
In October 2012 , Helloween released their new single " Burning Sun " . And the clip " Nabataea " , on December 14, 2012 .
Getting close its 30 -year career , is released on January 18, 2013 , his seventeenth studio album , Straight Out of Hell . Helloween goes on tour for the new album in early 2013 . The Hellish World Tour Part II , in partnership with Gamma Ray , goes through Latin America and North America , Europe , Asia and Oceania, as was done in the Hellish World Tour , which took place between 2007 and 2008 . The band will perform on the 22nd of September, at Rock in Rio , the day of the heavy metal
