        Olá para todos vocês . Hoje faremos uma pequena homenagem para aquelas grandes pessoas que além da voz, da atitude no palco , do seu carisma , sua inteligencia e sua beleza, sempre conseguem fazer uma multidão se emocionar. Hoje dedicaremos este dia para as mulheres do metal  em homenagem ao dia internacional delas .

     Vamos listar aqui algumas dessas grandes mulheres e contar a vocês a história de cada uma.Enquanto o universo do metal e do rock eram de sua maioria dominada por homens. 

   Surge apenas nos anos 50 a primeira mulher a espalhar o brilho do rock por ai, contudo, não da para negar também a importância do papel das mulheres nessa história.E apesar do preconceito que muitas mulheres tiveram que lidar, seu espaço foi garantido e valorizado!

     Hello to all of you.Today we will pay a little homage to those great people who, beyond you, the attitude on stage, their charisma, their intelligence and their beauty, can always make a crowd get excited. Today we will dedicate this day to the women of the metal in honor of their international day.

         Let's list some of these great women here and tell you the story of each one. While the universe of metal and rock were mostly dominated by men.

    Only in the 1950s did the first woman spreading rock shine around, however, did not deny the importance of the role of women in this story. And despite the prejudice that many women had to deal with, their space was guaranteed and valued!

Debby Harry:

        Seu olhar foi popularizado pela presença precoce da banda na revolução do vídeo musical da época. Ela era regular no Studio 54. Em junho de 1979, Blondie apareceu na capa de Rolling Stone. Personagem de Harry, combinando sexualidade legal com estilo streetwise, tornou-se tão intimamente associado com o nome do grupo que muitos vieram a acreditar "Blondie" era o nome do cantor.

      A diferença entre o indivíduo Harry e a banda Blondie foi famosa destacada com um "Blondie é um grupo" botão campanha pela banda em 1979.      With his distinctive photogenic features and two shades of bleached blonde hair, Harry quickly became a punk icon.

        His gaze was popularized by the band's early presence in the music video revolution of the time. She was regular at Studio 54. In June 1979, Blondie appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone. Harry's character, combining cool sexuality with streetwise style, became so intimately associated with the name of the group that many came to believe "Blondie" was the name of the singer.

      The difference between the individual Harry and the band Blondie was famously featured with a "Blondie is a group" button campaign by the band in 1979. In 1981, Harry published a press release to clarify that his name was not "Debbie Blondie" or " Debbie Harry, "but rather Deborah Harry, although Harry later described his character in the band as being" Blondie, "as in this quote from The No Exit Tour Book:

    Blondie released her debut album in 1976; He reached fifth place in Australia and number 75 in the UK. His second album, Plastic Letters, had some success outside the United States, but his third album, Parallel Lines (1978), was a worldwide success and led the group to international success.

     It included the single overall hit "Heart of Glass". Riding the crest of the domination of the disc, the infectious track hit # 1 in the US and sold nearly two million copies. It also reached # 1 in the UK and was the second best selling single of 1979.

     The band's success continued with the release of Eat to the Beat on platinum in 1979 and Autoamerican in 1980. Blondie had more # 1 hits with "Call Me," "The Tide Is High," "Atomic" UK # 1) and "Rapture" (USA # 1).

      During this time, Harry and Stein teamed up with graffiti artist Fab Five Freddy, who introduced them to the emerging hip-hop scene in the Bronx. Freddy is mentioned in "Rapture" and also makes an appearance in the video. Through it, they were also able to connect with Grandmaster Flash.

   After a one-year hiatus in 1981, during which Harry released his first solo album (see below), Blondie regrouped and released his sixth studio album, The Hunter, in 1982. The album was not as successful as his work And a World Tour was interrupted due to low ticket sales. It was at this time that Stein also fell seriously ill with the pemphigus rare autoimmune disease. His illness, coupled with declining sales of records and domestic fights, led the band to split.

     Harry continued his solo career during the '80s and' 90s, but in 1997 Blondie began working together again for the first time in 15 years. The original four members (Harry, Stein, Clem Burke and Jimmy Destri) embarked on sessions for what would become Blondie's seventh studio album, No Exit (1999). The first single from the album, "Maria," debuted at # 1 in the UK, giving Blondie her sixth hit UK # 1. "Maria" also peaked at # 1 in 14 different countries, the top 10 in US dance charts, and Top 20 US Top 40 Adult Charts. No output debuted at # 3 in the UK and # 17 in the US.

    The band continued the tour almost annually for the next few years and continued recording, releasing Blondie's (2003), Panic of Girls (2011) and Ghosts of Download (2014) albums.

     Uma das mais belas vozes do metal feminino, a bela e simpática Dorothee Pesch mostra desde o fim dos anos setenta até hoje toda a sua atitude no palco . 

    A primeira gravação produzida por Doro foi um demo de 7 faixas com uma de suas primeiras bandas, Snakebite, em 1980. Em 1981 ela se tornou membro da banda Beast, mas em 1982 deixou a banda para ingressar na Warlock. Em 1987, depois do quarto álbum da Warlock, Triumph and Agony, e depois de muitas mudanças na formação da banda, Doro Pesch permaneceu como o única membro original da Warlock. Em 1989, a banda lança seu quinto álbum Force Majeure.

   Seu contrato de dez anos com a Polygram expirou em 1995, quando ela assinou com a WEA (agora Warner Music Group). Em 1995, Doro fez sua primeira atuação em um programa de televisão alemão chamado "Verbotene Liebe" (Amor Proibido). Depois da turnê "Love Me In Black" em 1998, Doro rompeu com a WEA e assinou com a SPV Steamhammer, e recentemente com a AFM Records. Doro foi a cantora convidada no álbum After Forever da banda After Forever, acrescentando sua voz na música "Who I Am". No mesmo ano Doro passou pelo Brasil pela primeira vez no festival metálico Live'N'Louder. O show ocorreu na cidade de São Paulo, no dia 14 de Outubro de 2006.

     Em 27 de junho de 2007, Doro foi no primeiro vôo do festival de metal Flight of the Valkyries, em St. Paul nos EUA.Ela cantou ao vivo no Metal Female Voices Fest 5 na Bélgica em 19 de outubro de 2007, e interpretou a canção "All We Are", com Sabina Classen do Holy Moses.

Mais recentemente ela foi tocada ao vivo no Magic Circle Festival 2008. Ela também gravou os vocais da faixa "The Seer", com Tarja Turunen em sua edição limitada "The Seer EP". 
   Em 13 de dezembro de 2008 ela se apresentou com o Scorpions, a banda do clássico "Rock You Like a Hurricane" e cantou com Klaus Meine a música "Big City Nights". Também em dezembro de 2008 a gravadora Pure Steel Records lançou o primeiro tributo oficial ao Warlock e a Doro.

Em 2009 ela escreveu o "Wacken Anthem" para o 20º aniversário do festival Wacken Open Air. A canção foi lançada em 30 de julho de 2009 no "W:O:A" e foi realizada por ela e a banda Skyline do ex-organizador do Wacken Thomas Jensen. Em 2009, Doro também visitou o Reino Unido com a banda Saxon. Doro também cantou para Saltatio Mortis os vocais de fundo para "Salome" juntamente com Alea.

Em 17 de novembro de 2014, a banda brasileira de power metal Angra anunciou que ela faria uma participação especial no oitavo disco de estúdio deles, Secret Garden, mais precisamente na faixa "Crushing Room".Apresentaram-se juntos na 6ª edição do Rock in Rio em 19 de setembro de 2015.

  

One of the most beautiful voices of the female metal, the beautiful and nice Dorothee Pesch shows from the end of the seventies until today all her attitude on stage.

    The first recording produced by Doro was a 7 track demo with one of her first bands, Snakebite, in 1980. In 1981 she became a member of the band Beast, but in 1982 she left the band to join Warlock. In 1987, after Warlock's fourth album, Triumph and Agony, and after many changes in the band's formation, Doro Pesch remained the only original member of Warlock. In 1989, the band released their fifth album Force Majeure.

Her ten-year contract with Polygram expired in 1995 when she signed with WEA (now Warner Music Group). In 1995, Doro made his first performance on a German television program called "Verbotene Liebe" (Love Forbidden). After the "Love Me In Black" tour in 1998, Doro broke up with WEA and signed with SPV Steamhammer, and recently with AFM Records. She also signed a US agreement. In 2000, she sang a ballad with Lemmy called "Alone Again" on the album Calling the Wild.

      In 2001, she made an appearance at the Wacken Open Air festival and sang the song "Too Drunk to Fuck" with Holy Moses. In 2002, she composed the song Fight for her friend Regina Halmich. In 2003, she sang alongside vocalist Udo Dirkschneider with the band U.D.O .. Doro Pesch released the song "Dancing with an Angel". She sang live on Ministry-Antella, Florence, Italy on March 25, 2006 with Jorn Lande, playing the song "All We Are."

In 2004, Doro was live on stage with Dirk Bach playing the song "Gimme Gimme Gimme" from the Abba Mania Show by RTL Television. She performed with Blaze Bayley singing a classic live version of Fear of the Dark, at the Wacken Open Air with strings and acoustic guitars. Most recently she was played live at the Magic Circle Festival 2008. She also recorded the vocals for the track "The Seer" with Tarja Turunen in her limited edition "The Seer EP".        On November 17, 2014, Brazilian power metal band Angra announced that she would make a special guest appearance on their eighth studio album, Secret Garden, more precisely on the track "Crushing Room". They performed together in the 6th edition of Rock in Rio on September 19, 2015.

    LITA FORD:- 
     Na mesma época em que muitos homens arrebentavam guitarras e faziam giffs do mais alto nivel , Lita surge mostrando a todos que ela também podia fazer o mesmo .

     Lita nasceu em Londres mas tem ascendência italiana. Ela se mudou com a família para os Estados Unidos ainda criança. Lita juntou-se à banda feminina The Runaways .

   Em 1975, aos 16 anos, Ford foi contratada pelo empresário Kim Fowley para se juntar à banda de rock feminina que ele estava montando chamada The Runaways. A banda logo conseguiu um contrato de gravação e lançou seu primeiro álbum em 1976. A banda "jailbait na corrida" gimmick  garnered significativa atenção da mídia e The Runaways tornou-se uma gravação bem sucedida e touring acto durante o seu final de 1970 apogeu. O jogo de guitarra-chumbo de Ford tornou-se um elemento integrante do som da banda até sua eventual separação em abril de 1979.

At the same time when many men broke guitars and made giffs of the highest level, Lita appears showing everyone that she could do the same.

     Lita was born in London but has Italian ancestry. She moved with the family to the United States as a child. Lita joined the female band The Runaways.

   In 1975, at the age of 16, Ford was hired by manager Kim Fowley to join the female rock band he was riding called The Runaways. The band soon landed a recording contract and released their first album in 1976. The band "jailbait in the race" gimmick garnered significant media attention and The Runaways became a successful recording and touring act during its late 1970s apogee. Ford's lead guitar game became an integral part of the band's sound until its eventual breakup in April 1979.

     In 1977, internal conflicts were erupting inside The Runaways, which by that time had split with producer Fowley, singer Cherie Currie and bassist Jackie Fox. Vocalist / guitarist Joan Jett wanted the band to switch to one Punk rock sound more influenced by the Ramones, while Ford and drummer Sandy West wanted to continue playing the hard rock-oriented songs the band had known. With no faction willing to compromise, the band finally ended in April 1979.

     After the dissolution of The Runaways, Ford began to launch a solo career. Their debut solo album, titled Out for Blood, was released in 1983 and was a commercial disappointment. His next release, Dancin 'on the Edge (1984) reached moderate success and Ford's popularity began to rise. Dancin 'on the Edge included the single "Fire in My Heart," which reached the Top 10 in several countries outside the United States. The accompanying single, "Gotta Let Go," performed best, reaching number one on the Mainstream Rock charts.

          Lita said in an interview that she recorded an unreleased album with RCA records, and Tony Iommi did not perform on it.

       Ford signed with RCA Records, hired Sharon Osbourne Management and re-emerged with a more radio-friendly pop-metal sound. In 1988, she released her most commercially successful album, the self-produced Lita.

       The album included several singles, including Kiss Me Deadly, Back to the Cave, Close My Eyes Forever and Falling In and Out of Love, a song co-written by Mötley Crüe's Nikki Sixx. The song "Close My Eyes Forever", a duet with Ozzy Osbourne, remains their most successful song, reaching # 8 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

      Ford followed Lita's success with the album Stiletto (1990). Stiletto presented the singles "Hungry" and "Lisa" (a song dedicated to his mother). However, the album failed to match the success of its previous release. Ford's next release was Dangerous Curves (1991), which featured its latest single from cartography so far, "Shot of Poison". Ford's final album before a long recording hiatus was black on the German ZYX Records.

    In the mid-1990s, Ford put a low priority on her musical career as she turned her attention to the creation of her two young children. After the release of Black in 1995, Ford did not release new material until the album Wicked Wonderland almost fifteen years later. Lita would not be back on stage until 2008, when Ford resurfaced with a new band with Stet Howland (WASP) on drums, performing several warm-up shows under the nickname Kiss Me Deadly before Rocklahoma in the New York area. In June 2009, she toured the United States and Europe with a new lineup in her last 14 shows, consisting of former Guns N 'Roses guitarist Ron' Bumblefoot 'Thal, drummer Dennis Leeflang and Bassist Deepfield PJ Farley.

  Since then she has performed on stage with all her charm and attitude.

JOAN JETT :

   Graças a essa mulher no rock , todos lembram de um hit que até hoje todos cantam ( I LOVE ROCK ´n ROLL ) . 

    Conhecida pelo seu nome artístico, Joan Jett, é uma cantora, guitarrista e baixista norte-americana, descrita como uma das figuras mais importantes da história do rock, atingindo         o auge nos anos 70 ao lado das suas companheiras de banda The Runaways, e também em carreira solo durante os anos 80 e 90. Além de ser conhecida e constantemente citada como a Rainha do Rock.

   Ela é conhecida mundialmente principalmente pela canção I Love Rock 'n Roll, que ficou no 1º lugar da Billboard de 30 de março a té 1 de maio de 1982, além de ser considerada pela Billboard a 28ª melhor música de todos os tempos. Também é conhecida por outros hits, como "Bad Reputation", "I Hate Myself For Loving You", "Crimson and Clover", "Little Liar", "Do You Wanna Touch Me", "Light of Day", "Love is All Around" e "Everyday People".

   Joan Jett foi a fundadora do The Runaways ao lado do baterista Sandy West. Jackie Fox, Lita Ford e Cherie Currie logo se juntaram para completar a banda, criando a linha clássica. Enquanto Currie inicialmente liderou a banda, Jett compartilhou alguns vocais principais, tocou guitarra rítmica e escreveu ou co-escreveu um monte de material da banda junto com Ford, West e Currie.   Não podemos esquecer que além do poder do heavy metal feminino estar crescendo na década de 70 lá fora , aqui no Brasil tínhamos nossa estrela do rock . 

   Por um período de seis anos, Rita Lee foi, com Arnaldo Baptista e Sérgio Dias, integrante da banda Os Mutantes, considerada por muitos especialistas em música, a maior banda da história da música no Brasil, sendo consagrada e admirada por muitos fora do pais como o ex Beatle Ringo Starr. cantando, tocando flauta e percussão, além de performances bissextas no sintetizador, no banjo e manipulando bizarrices como um gravador portátil (como na música "Caminhante Noturno") e uma bomba de dedetização (em "Le Premier Bonheur du Jour") e sendo letrista. Em 1967, a banda acompanhou Gilberto Gil no III Festival de Música Popular Brasileira da (TV Record) na apresentação da canção antológica "Domingo no parque". Foram gravados seis álbuns (tendo o primeiro, de 1968, como uns dos álbuns mais importantes da história da música brasileira), que deram origem a hits como "A Minha Menina", "Dom Quixote", "Balada do Louco", "Dois Mil e Um" (primeira música a misturar o som sertanejo com rock'n roll) e o mais relevante: "Ando Meio Desligado". A mesma foi uma das músicas mais tocadas e vendidas do ano de 1970. Entre 1968 e 1972, Rita Lee foi casada com o companheiro de banda Arnaldo (o divórcio seria assinado somente em 1977).

      Acompanhada dos componentes dos Mutantes, Lee gravou dois discos solo. O primeiro foi Build Up (1970), com algumas composições em parceria com Arnaldo Baptista, que originalmente era o repertório de um show que foi feito exclusivamente para uma edição da Fenit (feira de moda de São Paulo). Deste disco saiu seu primeiro single solo, José (uma versão de Nara Leão para o hino francês "Joseph"). O segundo disco Hoje é o Primeiro Dia do Resto da Sua Vida (1972), foi lançado com o seu nome pois Os Mutantes já tinham lançado disco naquele ano e a gravadora não permitiu que gravassem outro. Com isso, Os Mutantes gravaram e só a Rita assinou.

   Em decorrência do fim de seu casamento com Arnaldo e incompatibilidades artísticas com os rumos que a banda estava tomando, Rita foi expulsa dos Mutantes pelo próprio Arnaldo.

  Formou com a amiga Lúcia Turnbull uma dupla no estilo folk rock, As Cilibrinas do Éden,cuja única gravação, ao vivo, no festival Phono 73, foi lançada recentemente, mais de 35 anos depois.

Rita e Lúcia desistem da dupla e formam a banda Tutti Frutti com Luis Sérgio Carlini e Lee Marcucci, entre outros. Rita, além de cantar, tocou piano, sintetizador, gaita e violão. Um contrato com a gravadora Philips é assinado, mas esta exige que o grupo assine como "Rita Lee & Tutti-Frutti". O que seria o primeiro disco do grupo não é lançado pela gravadora por problemas com a censura e com os executivos, que o consideraram "alternativo demais". Eles voltam ao estúdio e Atrás do Porto Tem uma Cidade é gravado e lançado. Juntamente com o disco, é lançado o single Menino Bonito, que se torna a primeira música da banda a entrar na parada nacional, fazendo um amplo sucesso. Mamãe Natureza (primeira música composta por Rita após sua saída dos Mutantes) e Ando Jururu emplacaram paradas regionais.

     Com o disco Fruto Proibido, lançado em 1975 pela Som Livre, Rita Lee alcança consagração mundial. O primeiro single, "Agora só Falta Você" chega a segunda posição na parada nacional e instantaneamente se torna um grande sucesso. "Esse Tal de Roque Enrow", "Luz del Fuego" e "Dançar Pra Não Dançar" também foram bem-recebidas pelas rádios, chegando a posições relevantes. Surpreendentemente, o último single, "Ovelha Negra", torna-se um sucesso inesperado quando emplaca a primeira posição da parada nacional no mesmo ano. Segundo a revista Rolling Stone, a música foi a primeira a citar o evento dos "filhos saírem da casa dos pais" e por isso teve tal repercussão estrondosa. Fruto Proibido, considerado uma obra prima do rock nacional, torna-se uma espécie de manual para fazer-se rock em português e chega a vender mais de 700 mil cópias, sendo certificado como platina duplo.

O terceiro disco, Entradas e Bandeiras, é lançado em 1976. O single "Coisas da Vida" atinge a décima posição na parada radiofônica nacional e se torna uma das mais tocadas do ano. Outros singles foram "Corista de Rock" e "Com a Boca No Mundo". O disco também contava com a faixa "Bruxa Amarela" que foi composta por Raul Seixas e Paulo Coelho. Devido a uma crise de estresse, Lee fica afastada do processo de mixagem deste disco, fato que ocasiona em um som mais pesado com a nítida predominância da guitarra de Carlini. Apesar de não fazer tanto sucesso quanto o seu antecessor, "Entradas e Bandeiras" também é certificado como platina duplo. No mesmo ano conhece o músico carioca Roberto de Carvalho e inicia uma parceria musical/amorosa de sucesso, que segue até os dias atuais.

       Em agosto do mesmo ano, durante sua primeira gravidez e morando com Roberto, foi presa por porte e uso de maconha. Na verdade, tal episódio, considerado um dos mais truculentos da ditadura militar, foi um ato do regime com a finalidade de “servir de exemplo à juventude da época”, já que a cantora alegou que tinha deixado de usar drogas por causa da gravidez e que o que foi encontrado na época seriam restos usados por amigos e frequentadores da casa. Mesmo assim, Lee foi condenada e ficou um ano em prisão domiciliar, precisando de permissões especiais do juiz para sair de casa e fazer shows. Abalada e sem dinheiro, compôs com Paulo Coelho a polêmica “Arrombou a Festa”, música que criticava o cenário da MPB da época. O single bateu recordes de venda, com 200 mil cópias vendidas. Com o namorado definitivamente incorporado à banda, Rita fica livre da prisão domiciliar e, mesmo grávida, sai em turnê com Gilberto Gil. O show, denominado Refestança, foi registrado em disco, mas, segundo a própria cantora, resgatou apenas 30% da atmosfera do show. Rita dá à luz seu primeiro filho, Beto Lee em 1977, seguido por João em 1979, e Antônio em 1981, todos tendo Roberto de Carvalho como pai.

     Em 1978, a banda lança o disco Babilônia, que produziu os singles bem-sucedidos "Jardins da Babilônia", "Agora é Moda" e "Eu & Meu Gato". Outro destaque do disco foi a futurista "Miss Brasil 2000". Esse disco fez enorme sucesso sendo um dos mais famosos da Rita. Babilônia tem sido considerado por muitos como o último disco puramente de rock de Rita. Depois do lançamento do disco, a banda se desfez. Carlini, insatisfeito com sua posição secundária após a entrada de Roberto de Carvalho, resolve deixar o grupo e leva consigo o nome "Tutti Frutti", o qual havia sido registrado por ele. Assim, Rita reformulou a banda e colocou na estrada o show "Rita Lee & Cães e Gatos", nome dado devido às brigas internas durante os ensaios. Esse show deu origem a um dos primeiros álbuns piratas do Brasil, hoje, artigo de colecionador.

   A partir de 1979, Rita e Roberto de Carvalho começam a fazer discos e shows juntos - no formato dupla dinâmica - e inauguram uma fase superpop, de enorme empatia popular. Desenvolvem um estilo único, que se manifesta em vários álbuns desde então, os quais extrapolam as fronteiras de nosso país. Acontecem então gradiosos espetáculos, diversos especiais para a Rede Globo num sucesso maciço de vendas e execução em rádios. O primeiro trabalho em disco da dupla Lee/Carvalho foi o álbum Rita Lee, mais conhecido por Mania de Você, de 1979, álbum que obteve enorme sucesso com canções, incluindo o hit que deu nome ao álbum, como "Doce Vampiro", "Chega Mais", "Papai Me Empresta o Carro" e "Corre-Corre" entre outras tantas. Rita se transforma na cantora de maior sucesso do Brasil.

     A grande dúvida da mídia na época era se essa febre iria durar até o próximo verão. A resposta veio com o disco seguinte, o histórico Rita Lee de 1980, mais conhecido pelo seu hit Lança Perfume. Do repertório fazem parte canções como (além da própria Lança Perfume), "Baila Comigo", "Nem Luxo Nem Lixo", "Orra Meu", "Shangrilá" e "Bem-me-quer". Lança Perfume estaciona por 2 meses em 1º lugar nas paradas de sucesso da França, chega em sétimo lugar da parada da Billboard e é lançado com grande êxito em vários países da Europa e América Latina. Até o Príncipe Charles da Inglaterra passa-se por excêntrico ao dizer que sua cantora favorita seria Rita Lee.

      Em 1981 gravam o álbum Saúde, e o sucesso continua em músicas como a titular "Saúde", "Atlântida", "Banho de Espuma", e "Mutante". Seguem-se através dos anos hits como Flagra, Cor de Rosa Choque ,Só de Você, On the Rocks, Desculpe o Auê, Vírus do Amor, Bwana, Pega Rapaz, Zona Zen, Dias Melhores Virão, Yê Yê Yê, La Miranda, Perto do Fogo, Livre Outra Vez, Caso Sério, Barata Tonta, etc.

    Desde a década de 1960, quando surgiram os Festivais de Música Popular Brasileira até o final da década de 1980, a televisão brasileira foi marcada pelo sucesso dos musicais, apresentando novos e conhecidos talentos, eles registravam índices recordes de audiência. Rita Lee participou do especial Mulher 80 (Rede Globo, 1979), um desses momentos marcantes da televisão. O programa, dirigido por Daniel Filho, exibiu uma série de entrevistas e musicais cujo tema era a mulher e a discussão do papel feminino na sociedade de então, abordando esta temática no contexto da música nacional.

  Os discos lançados a seguir tornam-se sucesso de público e crítica:

   Rita Lee (1980) com Lança Perfume, Baila Comigo, Caso Sério, Orra Meu e Nem luxo nem lixo.

   Saúde (1981) teve os sucessos com a música faixa título além de Banho de Espuma, Mutante, Atlântida e Tatibitati.

   Rita Lee e Roberto de Carvalho (1982), com Flagra, Só de Você, Vote em Mim, Barata Tonta e Cor de Rosa Choque.

   Bombom (1984) foi mal recebido pela crítica, mas teve os hits Desculpe o Auê e On the Rocks e ainda como temas de novelas Raio X e Bobos da Corte.

Rita e Roberto (1985) foi aclamado pela crítica, mas não fez tanto sucesso quanto os anteriores junto ao público. Deste disco os hits são Vírus do Amor, Yê yê yê e Noviças do Vício. Neste mesmo ano Rita Lee se apresenta na 1ª Edição do Rock in Rio, apresentação que marca sua volta aos palcos após dois anos.

    Ainda em 1985 Rita participa como uma das juradas do Festival dos Festivais, na qual foi júri ao lado de personalidades como Marcelo Tas e Malu Mader.

Flerte Fatal em (1987) com os sucessos Bwana, Xuxuzinho, Brasix Muamba e Pega Rapaz. O álbum precedeu a vitoriosa Tour 87/88 onde Rita se despediu de shows em grandes ginásios, percorreu todo o pais finalizando com shows na Europa e Estados Unidos em 1988.

Zona Zen em (1988)com os hits Livre Outra Vez, Independência e Vida, Zona Zen e Nunca Fui Santa.

    No fim da década de 1970 e durante todos os anos 80, influenciados pela Disco Music,Rita e Roberto emplacam sucesso após sucesso nas paradas. Rita ainda passa por intervenções cirúrgicas na época: uma devido a calos nas cordas vocais e outra na face, devido a um acidente de carro.

   Em 1990, Rita Lee lança o álbum Rita Lee e Roberto de Carvalho, que teve entre suas faixas a música "Perto do Fogo", uma composição de Rita Lee e Cazuza e também os hits 'La Miranda' uma Ode à Carmem Miranda, que foi tema de abertura da Novela 'Lua Cheia de Amor' e Esfinge. Após o lançamento do álbum, Rita Lee e Roberto de Carvalho se separam e ambos seguem em carreira solo.

   Em 1991, Rita separa-se temporariamente de Roberto de Carvalho, profissionalmente, e inicia a bem-sucedida turnê voz-e-violão Bossa 'n' Roll. No mesmo ano, estreou o TVleezão, seu programa na MTV Brasil. Em seguida lança o disco Rita Lee em 1993, dedicado a um rock'n'roll mais purista.

        O casal só viria a dividir o palco novamente em 1995, durante a turnê do álbum A Marca da Zorra, foi com essa turnê que Rita Lee abriu o primeiro show dos Rolling Stones no Brasil. Pouco antes de Rita abrir esse show ela deu entrada no hospital por overdose, e no ano seguinte, sob o efeito de barbitúricos, sofreu uma queda da varanda no segundo andar de seu sítio, esfacelando seu côndilo maxilar e tendo que passar por uma cirurgia para colocação de pinos de titânio. Os médicos teriam dito que, após o acidente, ela jamais voltaria a cantar. 

       Contudo, depois da cirurgia bem-sucedida e diante da possibilidade de retomar sua carreira, Rita teria se comprometido a largar as drogas, o que, segundo uma declaração da cantora ao programa Fantástico (Rede Globo), só fez totalmente em janeiro de 2006, depois de procurar ajuda em um hospício. Ainda em 1995 a música "Vítima" é tema de abertura da novela A Próxima Vítima.

    Em dezembro de 1996, Rita casa-se legalmente com Roberto de Carvalho, passando a assinar por Rita Lee Jones Carvalho.

    Em 1997, Rita lança o álbum Santa Rita de Sampa, o álbum teve como grande hit a música "Obrigado Não", a música "Dona Doida" foi tema de abertura da novela Zazá, o álbum possui ainda uma música chamada "Homem Vinho" a qual é uma homenagem de Rita para Caetano Veloso. esse disco foi aclamado pela critica e pelo público, sendo um sucesso de vendas.

    Em 1998, lança seu Acústico MTV que foi um grande sucesso de vendagens e crítica. O CD conta com a participação de Cássia Eller na música "Luz del Fuego", a cantora Paula Toller na canção "Desculpe o Auê", a banda Titãs em' Papai Me Empresta o Carro" e Milton Nascimento em "Mania de Você".

Due to a crisis of stress, Lee is distanced from the process of mixing this record, a fact that causes a heavier sound with the clear predominance of Carlini's guitar. Although not as successful as its predecessor, "Entries and Flags" is also certified as double platinum. In the same year he met the carioca musician Roberto de Carvalho and started a successful musical / love affair, which continues to this day.

       In August of the same year, during her first pregnancy and living with Roberto, she was arrested for possession and use of marijuana. Logo no ano seguinte, começaram os preparativos para a gravação do novo álbum. Baron Harkonnen deixa a banda para de dedicar ao projecto DyNAbyte. Em 2004 Far Away From Conformity é lançado.

Depois de algumas tours de promoção deste álbum a banda volta ao estúdio para gravar mais um álbum. O resultado é apresentado em Maio de 2007, com o nome de In Your Blood.

Em novembro de 2014, a banda lança mais um álbum de estúdio intitulado "Silence".

Silence é o quinto álbum de estúdio da banda liderada pela cantora Raffaella Rivarolo, que atende pelo nome de Cadaveria. Cristina não tinha contato nem experiência com o heavy metal, mas já havia feito participações em projetos com dance music. Foi ai que a história da banda começou a mudar. As faixas "Shallow End" e "Frozen Feeling" ganharam o brilho da voz suave de Cristina no som da banda italiana.

    A sonoridade do instrumental ousado e inovador, o contraste grave de Ferro somados aos agudos de Scabbia, chegaram à gravadora Century Media, que acreditou no potencial e abriu as portas dos estúdios para os jovens milaneses. Era a grande oportunidade da banda.

O som ficou mais lento e os arranjos polidos destacaram as influências góticas. O nome também foi mudado para Lacuna Coil. A Itália, com pouca tradição no rock, lançava ao mundo uma banda das mais competentes e sofisticadas da cena atual.

   Em 1998, chegava às lojas um EP intitulado Lacuna Coil. A banda já garantia sua presença no festival alemão Wacken, tocando ao lado de The Gathering e Moonspell. Depois da terceira apresentação, o baterista e o guitarrista deixaram a banda, os músicos do Moonspell foram convidados a participarem com Lacuna Coil até o final da turnê. Um tecladista ainda foi adicionado para a excursão seguinte. Porém, a idéia não foi aprovada pelos outros integrantes. Já na Itália, Cristiano Mozzati foi convidado para a bateria. Cristiano Migliore passou a ser o guitarrista.

  In a Reverie foi o primeiro trabalho, que trazia um instrumental refinado e a voz de Cristina Scabbia. Em 1999, os italianos foram uma das principais atrações do festival holandês Dynamo Open Air, e do Gods of Metal, da Itália. O grupo contou ainda com as excursões ao lado de Grip Inc. e Skyclad. Bandas de estilos diferentes e muito mais experientes, que ajudaram o Lacuna Coil a aprimorar a própria técnica e aprender com outros músicos.

   No início de 2000, o grupo prepara o segundo EP da discografia, intitulado Halflife, que fora lançado em março. Tal EP rendeu à banda a primeira turnê européia como atração principal. Concertos como o de Londres ficaram marcados, pois os ingressos foram esgotados. O EP incluía a faixa "Senzafine" cantada em italiano. No mesmo ano, em outubro, a banda começa a gravar o álbum Unleashed Memories, sendo lançado em 29 de janeiro de 2001. E esse foi um ano intenso de turnês para a banda, começando com uma excursão européia com Theatre of Tragedy ao longo de janeiro e fevereiro. Eles também são incluídos no metal de Odyssey fazendo turnê com Dimmu Borgir, Nevermore, In Flames e Susperia, tocando treze datas ao longo da Europa. Em abril, voltam à Itália para uma série de concertos.

       Depois do retorno de uma turnê pela América e uma parada para o Natal, a banda começa a trabalhar no terceiro álbum de estúdio. Os próximos meses são dedicados dentro a maior parte para ensaiar e escrever canções.

        Em abril de 2002, a banda trabalha em pré-produção em Milão, com o produtor e amigo de longa data Waldemar Sorychta e em 17 de abril eles entram no estúdio de Woodhouse na Alemanha e começam gravação do álbum que trará reconhecimento global para eles. Comalies é o título que a banda escolhe para esse novo álbum, lançado em setembro de 2002. Ele é mais pesado e mais dinâmico que o Unleashed Memories, tendo muitas críticas positivas e ótima repercussão dentre os fãs. Nesse trabalho foram adicionados sintetizadores que davam um ar saudosista às canções, deixando um pouco, a antiga proposta. 

        As faixas eram bastante diferentes entre si, o que provou o amadurecimento da banda e repercutiu de forma extremamente positiva no cenário underground.

       No restante de 2002, e em 2003 a banda faz várias turnês na Europa e EUA, e grava o vídeo musical da canção "Heaven's a Lie", que se torna uma das mais tocadas na Itália. Em 2004, a banda assina com a gravadora Century Media, e continua fazendo turnês por várias partes do mundo. Também gravam mais um vídeo musical, agora de "Swamped", que também é incluída na trilha sonora do filme Resident Evil Apocalypse. No final desse ano, a banda começa a trabalhar em um novo álbum.

      Começa 2005 e Comalies continua vendendo bem; em março o álbum ultrapassou a marca de duzentas mil cópias vendidas. Com a aproximação do verão o Lacuna Coil continua escrevendo canções para o novo álbum e se prepara para um grande número de festivais pela Europa. Em julho, a Century Media relança todos os álbuns e EPs anteriores a Comalies, com novos encartes e extras. Os festivais continuam ao longo dos meses de verão. Em 23 de outubro, a imprensa internacional é convidada a uma sessão especial nos Estúdios de Galáxia em Mol na Bélgica, onde a banda revela seis novas canções: "What I See", "Fragile", "In Visible Light", "Fragments of Faith", "Within Me" e "Our Truth". Todas elas, seriam lançadas no próximo álbum.

    No final de 2005 a banda completa a gravação de Karmacode, e o lança em 4 de abril do ano seguinte. Um pouco antes, em 4 de março de 2006, a banda lança o compacto "Our Truth", que aparece na trilha sonora do filme Anjos da Noite: A Evolução. Também é gravado um vídeo musical para a canção.

      Em 2010, chega as lojas brasileiras o álbum Shallow Life produzido por Don Gilmore (o mesmo de Linkin Park) trazendo como principais destaques as faixas Spellbound, Unchained e I Won’t Tell You.

        Dois anos depois, a banda termina as gravações de seu novo album, intitulado Dark Adrenaline, sendo lançado no início de 2012, produzido por Don Gilmore (Pearl Jam, Linkin Park, Bullet For My Valentine) e gravado pela Century Media Records. "Em algumas canções há bastante raiva, provavelmente as mais pesadas que já escrevemos, algumas outras canções são intensas, carregado com doces e escuras emoções e até mesmo há um pequeno espaço para alguma luz no fim do túnel", diz o co-vocalista Andrea Ferro sobre o album Dark Adrenaline.

       Em setembro de 2013, a banda anunciou o início da gravação de seu novo álbum o "Broken Crown Halo" com o produtor Jay Baumgardner, com lançamento previsto para o primeiro semestre de 2014 na América do Norte. A primeira faixa de seu novo álbum chamado "Nothing Stands In Our Way" foi estreada online. Em 14 de fevereiro de 2014 a banda anunciou através de sua página no Facebook que o guitarrista Cristiano 'Pizza' Migliore e o baterista Cristiano 'Criz' Mozzati decidiram sair da banda depois de 16 anos, citando razões pessoais. Ryan Folden (The Agony Scene; Queime halo; After Midnight Project) assumiu a posição de baterista da banda, enquanto que nas guitarras a banda se mantém apenas com um guitarrista o Marco Biazzi.

Many men regard her as a sex symbol in the metal world because she is very beautiful, the vocalist of lyrical metal Lacuna Coil - Cristina Scabbia.

   It was the decade of 1990. Andrea Ferro and Marco Coti Zelati mounted a band of rock without great pretensions. Although the style does not have a strong scene in Milan, the band Sleep of Right arrived the recording of the first demo with Iron on vocals, Claudio Leo on guitar, Marco Coti Zelati on bass and Forti on drums. The sonority surprised the young members. But there was still something missing to complete the band's proposal.

    Cristina Scabbia, Zelati's girlfriend, was nominated by him to record some complementary vocals. Cristina had no contact or experience with heavy metal, but had already participated in projects with dance music. That's when the band's history began to change. The tracks "Shallow End" and "Frozen Feeling" gained the shine of Cristina's soft voice in the sound of the Italian band.

    The sonority of the bold and innovative instruments, the severe contrast of Iron added to the treble of Scabbia, arrived at the record company Century Media, that believed in the potential and opened the doors of the studios for the young people of Milan. It was the band's great opportunity.

The sound slowed down and the polished arrangements highlighted the Gothic influences. The name was also changed to Lacuna Coil. Italy, with little tradition in rock, launched to the world a band of the most competent and sophisticated of the current scene.

   In 1998, an EP titled Lacuna Coil arrived in stores. The band already guaranteed their presence in the German festival Wacken, playing alongside The Gathering and Moonspell. After the third performance, the drummer and the guitarist left the band, the Moonspell musicians were invited to participate with Lacuna Coil until the end of the tour. A keyboardist was still added for the next tour. However, the idea was not approved by the other members. In Italy, Cristiano Mozzati was invited to the drums. Cristiano Migliore happened to be the guitarist.

  In a Reverie was the first work, which brought a refined instrumental and the voice of Cristina Scabbia. In 1999, the Italians were one of the main attractions of the Dutch festival Dynamo Open Air, and the Gods of Metal, Italy. The group also counted on the excursions next to Grip Inc. and Skyclad. Bands of different styles and much more experienced, that helped the Lacuna Coil to improve the own technique and to learn with other musicians.

   In early 2000, the group prepared the second EP of the discography, titled Halflife, which was released in March. This EP yielded to the band the first European tour like main attraction. Concerts like the one in London were marked, since the tickets were sold out. The EP included the track "Senzafine" sung in Italian. In the same year, in October, the band began recording the album Unleashed Memories, being released on January 29, 2001. And this was an intense year of touring for the band, starting with a European tour with Theater of Tragedy throughout January and February. They are also included in Odyssey's metal touring with Dimmu Borgir, Nevermore, In Flames and Susperia, playing thirteen dates throughout Europe. In April, they return to Italy for a series of concerts.

       After returning from a tour of America and a Christmas break, the band begins work on the third studio album. The next few months are mostly dedicated to rehearsing and writing songs.

        In April 2002, the band started pre-production in Milan with producer and long-time friend Waldemar Sorychta and on April 17 they entered the Woodhouse studio in Germany and began recording the album that will bring global recognition to them. Comalies is the title that the band chooses for this new album, released in September of 2002. It is heavier and more dynamic than Unleashed Memories, having many positive reviews and great repercussion among the fans. In this work were added synthesizers that gave a nostalgic air to the songs, leaving a little, the old proposal.

        The tracks were quite different from each other, which proved the maturation of the band and reverberated in an extremely positive way in the underground scene.

       In the remainder of 2002, and in 2003 the band toured extensively in Europe and the United States, and recorded the music video for the song "Heaven's a Lie", which becomes one of the most played in Italy. In 2004, the band signed with Century Media Records, and continued touring around the world. They also record another music video, now of "Swamped", which is also included in the soundtrack of the film Resident Evil Apocalypse. At the end of this year, the band starts working on a new album.

TARJA TURUNEN:
   Em 1996, Tarja tornou-se um dos membros-fundadores do Nightwish, quando seu colega de classe, Tuomas Holopainen, a convidou para participar de seu projeto acústico, então, Tarja, Tuomas e o guitarrista Emppu Vuorinen gravaram uma demo intitulada Nightwish, da qual foi retirado o nome da banda. No mesmo ano, ela cantou pela primeira vez no Festival de Ópera de Savonlinna, onde fazia parte do coral, interpretando algumas obras de Wagner e Verdi.

Em 1997 é lançado o primeiro álbum da banda, Angels Fall First, e foi quando Tarja fez seu primeiro concerto com o grupo em 31 de dezembro, em sua cidade natal.A banda porém, só ficou internacionalmente famosa com o lançamento do álbum Oceanborn, em 1998. Tarja foi solista de vários espetáculos bem-sucedidos de música lírica, mas continuou a gravar e fazer apresentações com o Nightwish pelos anos de 2000 e 2001, período de lançamento do álbum Wishmaster e do EP Over the Hills and Far Away

    Nessa época, Tarja deixou a Academia Sibelius e mudou-se para a Alemanha, onde passou a frequentar a Universidade de Música de Karlsruhe, no sul do país. Enquanto esteve lá, ela gravou os vocais para o álbum Century Child, além de uma participação no também bem-sucedido projeto Infinity do baixista argentino Beto Vázquez.

Em 2002, a cantora excursionou pela América do Sul com o concerto Noche Escandinava I, posteriormente fazendo uma longa turnê mundial para a promoção de Once, o então novo álbum do Nightwish. Após esse período, Tarja voltou a Karlsruhe e o Nightwish fez um pequeno hiato. Após um concerto na Hartwall Areena de Helsinque, lhe foi entregue uma carta aberta, assinada pelos outros integrantes do grupo, na qual ela foi demitida da banda.

  O primeiro lançamento solo de Tarja foi um single natalino em 2004, "Yhden Enkelin Unelma", que chegou a Disco de Platina na Finlândia e ao primeiro lugar nas paradas musicais tanto em 2004 quanto em 2005.

      Após sua demissão do Nightwish, Tarja ficou em pausa apenas durante um mês em Buenos Aires, pois já em dezembro retomou sua carreira com uma turnê natalina que passou por quatro países da Europa: Finlândia, Alemanha, Espanha e Romênia, onde neste último foi acompanhada pela Orquestra Filarmônica de Sibiu.

      E 2006 não foi um ano de pausa para a cantora, que participou do álbum solo de seu irmão, Timo Turunen, e lançou seu primeiro álbum independente, um disco natalino chamado Henkäys Ikuisuudesta. O disco foi muito bem aceito, ganhando certificado de Platina e chegando a segunda posição das paradas finlandesas.

     Uma turnê promocional foi realizada entre novembro e dezembro pela Finlândia, com dois concertos especiais na Rússia. A apresentação na cidade de Lahti teve lotação esgotada e foi transmitida ao vivo pela emissora YLE TV2, a audiência foi estimada em trinta por cento em horário nobre, o que corresponde a mais de quatrocentos e cinquenta mil espectadores.

  Ainda em maio, Tarja começou as gravações do seu primeiro álbum solo de metal, My Winter Storm, nos estúdios Grouse Lodge, no interior da Irlanda, contando com a ajuda de um grupo de compositores e músicos como Doug Wimbish e Earl Harvin. A produção do álbum levou a cantora aos estúdios do famoso compositor de trilhas sonoras, Hans Zimmer, em Los Angeles, onde o álbum ganhou seus últimos arranjos para, enfim, poder ser lançado em 19 de novembro de 2007 na Europa e 2 de janeiro de 2008 na América do Sul.

   A turnê mundial que promoveu o álbum começou em 25 de novembro de 2007 por Berlim, na Alemanha, e ainda naquele ano Tarja e sua banda passaram por outros oito países. Tarja excursionou durante todo o ano de 2008, e em agosto, ela se apresentou pela América Latina, passando pelo Brasil, com datas nas cidades de São Paulo, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Fortaleza, Belo Horizonte e Rio de Janeiro, e em outros países como México, Chile, Colômbia e Argentina, contando com a participação do guitarrista brasileiro Kiko Loureiro. Durante essa turnê, Tarja apresentou a música "Enough", que até então não havia sido gravada em estúdio, e foi lançada como single mais tarde. No final de 2008, Tarja retorna à Europa para novos concertos e também lança um novo EP, intitulado The Seer, que além da participação da veterana Doro Pesch em um dueto na música título, conta também com várias versões das músicas já encontradas no álbum My Winter Storm.

      A cantora finaliza o ano como convidada especial no concerto de comemoração aos vinte e cinco anos de carreira de Doro na Alemanha, interpretando as canções "The Seer" e "Walking with the Angels", esta última também fazendo parte do álbum Fear no Evil, que Doro lançou no ano seguinte. Em fevereiro de 2009, Tarja anunciou em seu website o título de seu novo álbum: What Lies Beneath, no qual ela trabalhou desde então, sempre mantendo o público atualizado quanto ao processo de produção através de um blog que ela criou especificamente para isso. Em 19 de julho de 2010, foi feito o primeiro lançamento relacionado ao novo material, um single chamado "Falling Awake", com lançamento limitado em mil cópias para o Reino Unido; o principal single, "Until My Last Breath", foi lançado mundialmente em 16 de agosto

    O álbum completo saiu em setembro de 2010, mas já em junho Tarja havia dado início a sua nova turnê mundial se apresentando em uma série de festivais na Europa, e rapidamente marcou seus próprios concertos, realizados também na Europa entre outubro e dezembro daquele ano, com mais datas realizadas na Europa e na América Latina em março, abril e maio de 2011. Ainda em 2011, Tarja participou de uma série de festivais de metal na Europa e esteve ao lado da banda Angra no Rock in Rio no dia 25 de setembro. A última série de concertos da turnê aconteceu entre janeiro e abril de 2012, e em agosto Tarja lançou seu primeiro DVD solo, Act I: Live in Rosario.

In 1996 Tarja became one of the founding members of Nightwish when her classmate, Tuomas Holopainen, invited her to participate in her acoustic project, so Tarja, Tuomas and guitarist Emppu Vuorinen recorded a demo entitled Nightwish from The name of the band was removed. In the same year, she sang for the first time at the Savonlinna Opera Festival, where she was part of the choir, performing some works by Wagner and Verdi.

SIMONE SIMONS - EPICA 

 No final de 2002, Mark Jansen saiu da banda After Forever, alegando divergências musicais com os demais integrantes, que desejavam um direcionamento mais pesado e menos sinfônico. Começou a procurar músicos para se integrarem ao seu novo projeto, inicialmente nomeado Sahara Dust.

       No começo, a banda contou com Helena Michaelsen (ex-integrante do Trail of Tears) como vocalista, mas logo depois ela abandonou o grupo e deu lugar a uma, até então, desconhecida mezzo-soprano, Simone Simons, na época namorada de Jansen. A banda estava completa com o guitarrista Ad Sluijter, o baterista Jeroen Simons, o baixista Yves Huts e o tecladista Coen Janssen.

Em 2003, ainda intitulada Sahara Dust, lançou a demo Cry for the Moon. No mesmo ano o nome da banda mudou para Epica, inspirado no álbum homônimo da banda Kamelo

       Em junho a banda lança seu primeiro álbum, The Phantom Agony, com nove faixas, destacando-se "Cry For the Moon", "Feint" e "The Phantom Agony". O álbum conta uma forte influência da música árabe, nítida na faixa "Seif al Din". Os vocais são divididos entre a soprano Simone Simons e a voz gutural de Mark Jansen.

       A participação de oito vozes compondo o coral atribui um aspecto grandioso, especialmente na faixa de abertura "Adyta", cantada em latim. Sétima faixa, "Run for a Fall" foi escrita por Mark Jansen e disserta sobre sua saída do After Forever. "Façade of Reality" aborda os atentados de 11 de Setembro, incluindo um trecho com declarações de Tony Blair.

    Em 2004, a banda lançou o DVD We Will Take You With Us, que incluía gravações em estúdio de canções do álbum The Phantom Agony, making of, os vídeos musicais deles até o momento ("Feint" e "The Phantom Agony") e biografia.

       Chegado Abril de 2005, o grupo lança Consign to Oblivion, um álbum baseado na cultura e história Maia; Mark Jansen é apaixonado pelo tema - esteve no México pela primeira vez com o After Forever - e diz que acredita em certos princípios que os Maias tinham.

       O álbum aumentou consideravelmente a base de fãs. Já Consign to Oblivion contém onze faixas, destacando-se "Solitary Ground", "Quietus", "Mother of Light", a faixa título "Consign to Oblivion" (com participação de André Matos no coral) e um dueto com Roy Khan, vocalista do Kamelot - "Trois Vierges". Em setembro de 2005, foi lançado The Score - An Epic Journey. No entanto, o álbum não é um trabalho regular do sexteto, mas sim a trilha sonora que a banda fez para o filme Joy Ride. Em dezembro de 2005 o Epica fez sua primeira turnê pela América do Sul, passando por diversas cidades do Brasil.

       Na metade de setembro de 2006 a banda acaba sua primeira turnê nos Estados Unidos e Canadá, com a banda Kamelot; neste mesmo tempo, o baterista Jeroen Simons deixa o grupo. Em dezembro de 2006, o grupo anunciou em seu sítio oficial que Ariën van Weesenbeek do God Dethroned seria o baterista do próximo álbum da banda. E em meados do ano Simone Simons e Mark Jansen terminam seu namoro.

       Após a falência da Trasmission Records a banda ficou quase um ano sem gravadora, até que em abril de 2007 assinou com a Nuclear Blast Records, mesma gravadora de bandas como In Flames, Therion, Stratovarius, Children of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir e Nightwish. A banda ainda luta com a Trasmission Records para conseguir os direitos autorais de alguns de seus álbuns e lançar o DVD inédito filmado em Paradiso. 

     O álbum The Divine Conspiracy foi lançado em 7 de setembro de 2007 na Alemanha e em 10 de setembro no resto da Europa, tendo sido produzido por Sascha Paeth. Além da participação do baterista Ariën van Weesenbeek, também teve como convidado o guitarrista Sander Gommans do After Forever, com seus vocais guturais em uma das faixas. O grupo garantiu que seria o álbum com o som mais pesado de toda a história da banda . É também o primeiro álbum totalmente conceitual deles: carrega a teoria que Deus criou as diferentes religiões e as lançou sobre a humanidade para ver se são capazes de encontrar sua verdadeira natureza, compreendendo que todas as religiões são de fato uma só.O álbum também deu conclusão para o conceito The Embrace That Smothers, que se iniciou no álbum Prison of Desire da banda After Forever e teve continuidade em The Phantom Agony com o Epica. 

       O primeiro compacto do álbum é "Never Enough", que inclusive recebeu duas versões em vídeo, com o renomado diretor Ivan Colic.O álbum foi muito bem recebido tanto pelos críticos quanto pelos fãs tendo como destaque as canções "Death of a Dream", "The Obsessive Devotion", "Menace of Vanity", "Chasing The Dragon", "Safeguard To Paradise", "Sancta Terra" e a faixa título "The Divine Conspiracy".Em 3 de dezembro Ariën van Weesenbeek se torna o baterista oficial da banda.

       At the end of 2002, Mark Jansen left the band After Forever, claiming musical differences with the other members, who wanted a heavier and less symphonic direction. He started looking for musicians to join his new project, initially named Sahara Dust.

       In the beginning, the band had Helena Michaelsen (former member of Trail of Tears) as vocalist, but soon after she left the group and gave rise to a hitherto unknown mezzo-soprano, Simone Simons, then girlfriend of Jansen . The band was complete with guitarist Ad Sluijter, drummer Jeroen Simons, bassist Yves Huts and keyboardist Coen Janssen.

       In 2003, still titled Sahara Dust, he released the demo Cry for the Moon. In the same year the band's name changed to Epica, inspired by the band's self-titled album Kamelo

       In June the band released their first album, The Phantom Agony, with nine tracks, notably "Cry For the Moon", "Feint" and "The Phantom Agony". The album counts a strong influence of the Arab music, clear in the track "Seif al Din". The vocals are divided between the soprano Simone Simons and the guttural voice of Mark Jansen.

       The participation of eight voices composing the choir gives a grandiose aspect, especially in the opening band "Adyta", sung in Latin. Seventh track, "Run for a Fall" was written by Mark Jansen and discusses his departure from After Forever. "Façade of Reality" addresses the September 11 attacks, including an excerpt from statements by Tony Blair.

       In 2004, the band released the DVD We Will Take You With Us, which included studio recordings of songs from The Phantom Agony, making of, their music videos so far ("Feint" and "The Phantom Agony") and biography.

       Arrived April 2005, the group released Consign to Oblivion, an album based on Maia culture and history; Mark Jansen is passionate about the theme - he was in Mexico for the first time with After Forever - and says he believes in certain principles that the Mayas had. The album has greatly increased the fan base.        In the middle of September of 2006 the band finishes its first tour in the United States and Canada, with the band Kamelot; At the same time, drummer Jeroen Simons leaves the group. In December 2006, the group announced on their official website that Ariën van Weesenbeek of God Dethroned would be the drummer of the band's next album. And in the middle of the year Simone Simons and Mark Jansen finish their courtship.

       After the bankruptcy of Trasmission Records, the band spent nearly a year without a record label. In April 2007, they signed with Nuclear Blast Records, the same label as In Flames, Therion, Stratovarius, Children of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir and Nightwish. The band still struggles with Trasmission Records to get the copyright to some of their albums and release the unreleased DVD filmed in Paradiso.

    The album The Divine Conspiracy was released on September 7, 2007 in Germany and on September 10 in the rest of Europe, having been produced by Sascha Paeth. In addition to the participation of drummer Ariën van Weesenbeek, he also had guest guitarist Sander Gommans of After Forever, with his guttural vocals on one of the tracks.   The group assured that it would be the album with the heaviest sound of all the history of the band. It is also their first totally conceptual album: it carries the theory that God created the different religions and cast them on mankind to see if they are able to find their true nature, understanding that all religions are in fact one. Conclusion to The Embrace That Smothers concept, which began on the album After Forever's Prison of Desire and continued in The Phantom Agony with Epica. Irene Jansen

Você já deve ter ouvido ou lido alguma coisa sobre as irmãs Jansen . Bem , para quem não a conhece ela é a irmã de Floor Jansen (- ex vocalista do Revamp , After Forever e atual Nightwish).

     É uma cantora holandesa. Ela cantou  no álbum Ayreon The Human Equation, retratando o personagem Paixão. Ela também foi a vocalista ao vivo de Star One durante sua turnê em 2003, e interpretou a personagem Morgana em dois álbuns conceito Gary Hughes. Ela era a vocalista de uma banda de power metal chamada Karma. Fez suas primeiras gravações em mais de uma década para o álbum Alarion Waves of Destruction, lançado em 2016.

       Ela é a irmã mais nova de Floor Jansen . As duas já fizeram muitos duetos pelo mundo a fora na época em que Floor estava no After Forever .

     She's a Dutch singer. She sang on Ayreon's The Human Equation album, portraying the character Passion. She was also the lead vocalist for Star One during her 2003 tour, and performed the Morgana character on two Gary Hughes concept albums. She was the lead singer of a power metal band called Karma. He made his first recordings in more than a decade for the album Alarion Waves of Destruction, released in 2016.

       She is the younger sister of Floor Jansen. The two had already done many duets around the world by the time Floor was in After Forever.

FLOOR JANSEN

  Floor tinha dezesseis anos quando se juntou ao Apocalypse (nome da banda After Forever no começo da carreira) em 1997. Três anos depois a banda lançou seu primeiro álbum, Prison of Desire. Sua capacidade de cantar tanto música clássica quando rock a tornou razoavelmente popular da cena do metal.     Floor entrou como vocalista ao vivo no show da banda finlandesa Nightwish até o fim da turnê Imaginaerum World Tour de 2012, depois da vocalista anterior, Anette Olzon, deixar a banda. Floor estava no casamento de sua irmã quando recebeu a ligação com a proposta de ser a vocalista substituta na turnê. O primeiro show dela com a banda foi em Seattle em outubro daquele ano, uma experiência que ela descreveu da seguinte forma.

     Floor was sixteen when he joined Apocalypse in 1997. Three years later the band released their first album, Prison of Desire.      On October 17 of the same year, Jansen announced via MySpace that the name of his new band would be ReVamp. The band's first album was produced by After Forever keyboardist Joost van den Broek, former Dreadlock Pussy bassist Jaap Melman and Grip Inc. guitarist and Eyes of Eden, Waldemar Sorychta, all famous as composers and producers .

      In August 2011, the band Van Canto announced through Facebook that ReVamp would no longer participate in the tour Out of the Dark, because Floor had suffered a burnout. Later that same year, she joined the Mayan band for a concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil as part of the Latin American tour. In 2012, she sang with Adrenaline Mob in two shows in the cities of Bochum and Weert, and the following year ReVamp's third album was released under the title Wild Card.

      On September 29, 2016, ReVamp announced through its Facebook page that they had closed the activities. The reason is that Floor could not be able to give the devotion and attention needed to the two bands at the same time, being their other Nightwish. She said in the statement that she was proud of the two albums of the group and thanked the love and dedication of the fans throughout the band's journey

    Floor has been a live vocalist for the Finnish band Nightwish until the end of the 2012 Imaginaerum World Tour tour, after former vocalist Anette Olzon left the band. Floor was at her sister's wedding when she received the call with the proposal to be the lead singer on the tour. Her first gig with the band was in Seattle in October of that year, an experience she described as follows.

  On October 9, 2013, Jansen was announced as an official member of the group along with multi-instrumentalist Troy Donockley, after an invitation that members made to her in a hotel bar

Manda Ophuis - Nemesea 

      A banda Nemesea foi fundada pela vocalista Manda Ophuis e o guitarrista Hendrik Jan de Jong (HJ) em Setembro de 2002 no conservatório de Groningen. Logo se juntaram à banda o guitarrista Martijn Pronk, o baixista Sonny Onderwater, o tecladista Berto Booijink e o baterista Chris Postma.

Em 2003 a banda fez uma turnê abrindo shows para After Forever. E logo ganhou atenção do público e assinou um contrato com uma gravadora local em Setembro de 2003. A gravação foi realizada em vários estúdios e em Fevereiro de 2004, eles lançaram o seu primeiro álbum, Mana.

Nemesea fez uma intensa turnê, conquistando muita atenção da mídia e fãs dedicados. Durante este período, Nemesea mudou sua formação com a saída do baterista pra a entrada de Sander Zoer, que logo deixou lugar para o atual baterista Steven Bouma.

Em 2006, a banda iniciou sua participação no conceito Sellaband. Em 2 de novembro de 2006, com menos de três meses de participação e superando várias expectativas, Nemesea conseguiu a histórica marca de ser a primeira banda a atrair muitos believers e atingir os U$50.000. Isso fez com que a banda gravasse seu segundo álbum, In Control, lançado em junho de 2007.

VIBEKE STENE- TRISTANIA

     Vibeke Stene iniciou em seus estudos musicais ainda na adolescência, aos treze anos de idade, frequentando aulas regulares de canto lírico. Em 1994, aos dezesseis, mudou-se para a sede de seu condado, Stavanger, onde continuou a estudar música e a lecionar canto. Antes de sua carreira musical, também morara em Kristiansand e em Oslo.

    Através de amigos em comum, começou na banda em 1997 como uma cantora contratada apenas para alguns vocais da primeira demo, Tristania. Em seguida, passou a fazer parte da banda permanentemente, substituindo uma antiga vocalista.

     Em fevereiro de 2007, após dez anos com o grupo e cinco álbuns de estúdio lançados, motivos pessoais a fizeram sair da banda. Apesar de surgirem rumores de que ela estaria sendo cogitada como a nova vocalista do Nightwish após a saída de Tarja Turunen,a própria cantora desmentiu. Posteriormente, disse ao público que deixou a banda para lecionar canto, um sonho que sempre havia perseguido.

MONICA PEDERSEN - EX - SIRENIA

  É uma cantora Dinamarquesa da banda Sinphonia e ex-vocalista da banda Norueguesa de gothic metal Sirenia , substituindo a cantora Henriette Bordvik. Ela também atuou como cantora convidada em algumas outras bandas como Mercenary, Effektor, Evil Masquerade, Manticora e Ad Noctum.

Lisa Schaphaus - Ex Xandria

    A banda alemã Xandria foi formada em 1994 por Marco Heubaum. Com várias formações iniciais, Marco não conseguiu grande evolução com sua banda e somente no ano de 1999, juntamente com o baixista Roland Krueger e outros integrantes de sua antiga banda de metal, consegue gravar uma demo com cinco canções em um pequeno estúdio. Entre elas estavam "Kill the Sun", "Casablanca" e "So You Disappear".

    No ano seguinte, a banda começa a ganhar enorme notoriedade após divulgar as cinco canções pela Internet. Assim, através de compartilhamento de arquivos, forma-se um grande número de fãs. Por conseqüência, Marco decide levar em frente seu projeto, nascendo verdadeiramente a banda Xandria. Ainda em 2000, além de Marco e Roland, integram-se à banda Lisa Schaphaus (vocais), Gerit (bateria) e Andreas Maske (guitarra).

     Inicialmente era Marco que fazia os vocais e a voz de Lisa era usada apenas em algumas partes. Mas devido ao seu desempenho, Marco preferiu utilizar os vocais de Lisa integralmente, escrevendo as canções posteriores, já com esse intuito.

Em 2001, Xandria se torna famosa no cenário underground e faz seus primeiros concertos, para pequenos públicos. O guitarrista Andy Maske deixa a banda para se dedicar a seus estudos, já que a banda se preparava para um maior público e necessitava de muito tempo disponível. No seu lugar entra Philip Restemeier.

       No ano seguinte, a banda começa a tocar em concertos maiores e a trabalhar duro em suas demos. A gravadora Drakkar Records mostra interesse na banda que vinha evoluindo desde 2000. Então, em dezembro de 2002, eles fecham o contrato para gravar o disco de debute, que seria intitulado Kill the Sun. O disco é gravado entre o final de 2002 e começo de 2003, e chega às lojas em maio. A faixa título do álbum emplaca como grande sucesso e entra do Top 100 alemão. O disco é bem diversificado contando com várias misturas de estilos.

Após o lançamento desse primeiro disco, o Xandria faz vários concertos, incluindo uma grande turnê que durou três semanas, formando cada vez mais, um grande número de fãs pela Alemanha. Após um período agitado e de muito trabalho, a banda volta ao estúdio no final do mesmo ano e, no começo de 2004, terminam de gravar seu segundo álbum, Ravenheart. Nessa época, o baixista Roland Krueger, deixa a banda alegando motivos profissionais. Em seu lugar, entra Nils Middelhauve, baixista que Lisa e Marco já conheciam, através de outros trabalhos.

      O disco é lançado em maio e acaba sendo um sucesso maior ainda, ficando por sete semanas no Top 40 da Alemanha. Nesse trabalho a banda agregou elementos eletrônicos de maneira bem suave, mas não perdeu sua personalidade e a característica de agregar a melancolia ao peso do heavy metal. 

       As faixas "Ravenheart" e "The Lioness", por exemplo, soam bem mais suaves do que o material apresentado no álbum anterior. As guitarras estão menos presentes, com maior destaque para os teclados e a voz de Lisa Schaphaus. O talento da banda, aliado à versátil voz de Lisa, acaba por gerar momentos muito interessantes, como a pesada "Five of Universe", a épica "Some Like It Cold" e as viajantes "My Scarlet Name" e "Too Close to Breathe". Petardos como "Snow-White" e "Black Flame" soam agressivos e cortantes, perfeitos para quem gosta da fusão metal gótico. Como bônus ainda existe o vídeo musical da faixa título, com um cenário medieval e uma grande produção cinematográfica.

     Passando na "prova do segundo álbum", a banda é inserida de vez no cenário do metal gótico europeu. A banda sai em sua turnê de divulgação do álbum e chega a tocar para trinta mil pessoas no Busan International Rock Festival na Ásia, como grande destaque.

Em outubro, a banda lança o single "Eversleeping", com três novos sons, além do vídeo musical da faixa título, que fora gravado em um velho castelo perto de Berlim.

     No mês seguinte, o Xandria viaja com as bandas finlandesas Entwine e Lab, e tocam em alguns concertos. Logo em seguida, em dezembro, começam a gravação do terceiro álbum, India. Assim a banda entra 2005 com muitas ideias para terminar o novo álbum, produzido, assim como os anteriores, por Jose Alvarez-Brill. A banda ainda convida para participar da gravação, a orquestra alemã Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg, a mesma que junto a John Williams ganhou o Óscar de melhor trilha sonora em 2003, com o filme A Lista de Schindler, de Steven Spielberg. No meio desse ano, Lisa e Nils se casam, após um ano de namoro. Assim Lisa passa a ser Lisa Middelhauve.

     India é lançado em agosto de 2005 e mantém a linha dos discos anteriores, agregando um forte ingrediente orquestral de muito peso. O álbum possui sons mais pesados e que se contrastam com os vocais operísticos de Lisa, como acontece em "Black Silver" e "The End of Every Story". Em compensação, há faixas onde o sentimentalismo fala mais alto, como na melódica e acústica "Dancer" ou em "Like A Rose on The Grave Of Love". Esse trabalho consolida a grande carreira da banda, consagrando-a no cenário mundial. A partir do dia 14 de Dezembro a banda entrou em estúdio novamente para gravar o quarto álbum.

     Assim, o Xandria, com um misto de metal, rock, orquestras e melodias sombrias, bem dosados, tem feito aparições em grandes festivais, turnês mundiais e conquistado prêmios na cena musical alemã, se tornando uma das grandes referências em seu estilo.

      Lisa Middelhauve renunciou em 30 de abril de 2008 citando razões pessoais e desconforto em ser a vocalista da banda. A banda encontrou uma nova vocalista em Fevereiro de 2009, Kerstin Bischof aka Lakonia, mais conhecida por suas colaborações com a banda Axxis . No entanto, após apenas um ano Kerstin Bischof decidiu deixar a banda para se concentrar em uma carreira diferente, e Middelhauve substituiu-a por uma série de concertos no Verão de 2010.  Em 19 de dezembro de 2010, Xandria anunciou a adição da cantora de 29 anos, Manuela Kraller para fileiras do grupo. Manuela Kraller fez sua estréia ao vivo no evento "Classic Meets Pop" em 7 de janeiro de 2011 no Seidensticker Halle em Bielefeld, Alemanha.

     Em 5 de fevereiro, a banda anunciou em seu site e na página do Facebook seu novo baixista Steven Wussow, juntamente com a mensagem de que eles entrarão no estúdio novamente para seu próximo álbum de estúdio no mesmo ano. Neverworld's End foi lançado em 24 de Fevereiro de 2012.

     Em 25 de Outubro de 2013, a banda anunciou em seu site que Manuela Kraller tinha deixado a banda para seguir uma carreira diferente e anunciou a  Ex Libris a cantora Dianne van Giersbergen como a nova vocalista. Sacrificium foi lançado no ano seguinte.

   Seu próximo álbum Theather Of Dimensions, será lançado dia 27 de janeiro de 2017.

  The German band Xandria was formed in 1994 by Marco Heubaum.      Initially it was Marco who did the vocals and Lisa's voice was used only in parts. But because of his performance, Marco preferred to use Lisa's vocals fully, writing the later songs, for that purpose.

   In 2001, Xandria becomes famous in the underground scene and makes its first concerts, for small audiences. Guitarist Andy Maske leaves the band to pursue his studies, as the band was gearing up for a wider audience and needed plenty of time available. Philip Restemeier was the replacement.

       The following year, the band started playing in bigger concerts and working hard on their demos. The label Drakkar Records shows interest in the band that has been evolving since 2000. Then in December 2002, they close the contract to record the debut album, which would be titled Kill the Sun. The disc is recorded between the end of 2002 and beginning 2003, and hits stores in May. The title track of the album emplaced as a great success and enters the Top 100 German. The disc is well diversified counting on several mixtures of styles.

   After the release of this first album, Xandria performs several concerts, including a big tour that lasted three weeks, increasingly forming a large number of fans for Germany. After a busy and hard work, the band returns to the studio at the end of the year, and in early 2004 they finish recording their second album, Ravenheart. At that time, bassist Roland Krueger leaves the band claiming professional reasons. In his place, enters Nils Middelhauve, bass player that Lisa and Marco already knew, through other works.

      The album is released in May and ends up being a bigger success still, staying for seven weeks in Germany's Top 40. In this work the band added electronic elements in a very smooth way, but it did not lose its personality and the characteristic of adding melancholy to the weight of heavy metal.

       The tracks "Ravenheart" and "The Lioness", for example, sound much smoother than the material featured on the previous album. The guitars are less present, with more emphasis on keyboards and the voice of Lisa Schaphaus. The band's talent, coupled with Lisa's versatile voice, has generated some very interesting moments, such as the heavy "Five of Universe", the epic "Some Like It Cold" and travelers "My Scarlet Name" and "Too Close to Breathe ". Firecrackers like "Snow-White" and "Black Flame" sound aggressive and sharp, perfect for anyone who likes the fusion of gothic metal. As bonus there is still the music video of the title track, with a medieval setting and a great film production.

     Passing on "proof of the second album", the band is inserted once and for all in the European Gothic metal scene. The band leaves on their tour of spreading the album and reaches to play for thirty thousand people in the Busan International Rock Festival in Asia, as a great highlight.

In October, the band released the single "Eversleeping", with three new sounds, in addition to the music video of the title track, which had been recorded in an old castle near Berlin.

     The following month, Xandria travels with Finnish bands Entwine and Lab, and play some concerts. Soon after, in December, they begin the recording of the third album, India. So the band enters 2005 with many ideas to finish the new album, produced, as well as the previous ones, by Jose Alvarez-Brill. The band is also invited to participate in the recording, the German orchestra Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg, which together with John Williams won the Oscar for best soundtrack in 2003 with Steven Spielberg's A Schindler's List. In the middle of this year, Lisa and Nils get married after a year of dating. So Lisa becomes Lisa Middelhauve.

     India is released in August of 2005 and maintains the line of the previous discs, adding a strong orchestral ingredient of great weight. The album features heavier sounds and contrasts with Lisa's operatic vocals, as in "Black Silver" and "The End of Every Story." In contrast, there are tracks where sentimentality speaks louder, as in the melodic and acoustic "Dancer" or in "Like A Rose on The Grave Of Love". This work consolidates the

    Em 1994 Johan Ericson (vocais e bateria), Jesper Stolpe (vocais e baixo) e Andy Hindenäs (guitarra) montaram a banda Kerberos. A proposta inicial de um death heavy melódico indo de encontro ao black metal foi logo deixada de lado, na busca de um som próprio dentro do doom gótico, investimento que só foi possível com a entrada do vocalista e poeta Anders Jacobsson, sete meses depois da criação da banda, que mudou o nome para Draconian. Considerada uma das Bandas mais pesadas de Doom/Gothic, com melodias densas que remetem notavelmente ao romantismo.

Shades of a Lost Moon , a primeira demo, foi gravada em Outubro de 1995 e contou com a participação da flautista e vocalista Jessica Eriksson, da tecladista e vocalista Susanne Arvidsson e com Andreas Haag, na introdução de "My Nemesis". Depois do lançamento da demo, em Janeiro de 1996, o guitarrista Magnus Bergström juntou-se á banda. Como não obtiveram nenhuma proposta das editoras, gravaram uma segunda demo, In Glorious Victory, em 1997. Contudo, o resultado não foi o pretendido e a demo acabou por não ser lançada.

Susanne Arvidsson deixou a banda em 1997 por motivos pessoais e Andreas Karlsson foi o escolhido para o seu lugar.

Depois de dois anos dedicados só a concertos, a banda entra em estúdio em Agosto de 1999 para gravar a demo The Closed Eyes of Paradise. Susanne Arvidsson foi convidada para fazer os vocais femininos. A demo tinha alguns problemas de produção, pelo que em Maio e Junho de 2000 Andreas Karlsson, Anders Jacobsson e Johan Ericson tentaram melhorar a mixagem do álbum, antes de o apresentarem aos fans.

O guitarrista Andy Hindenäs deixou a banda e foi substituído por Johan Ericson, que deixou a bateria a cargo de Jerry Torstensson. Dark Oceans We Cry foi gravado em 2002, e assegurou um contrato com a Napalm Records.

Os suecos lançaram o seu debut CD, Where Lovers Mourn em 2003. Assim que terminaram a divulgação deste álbum, partiram para a gravação do segundo trabalho, Arcane Rain Fell (2005).       Em Setembro do ano seguinte começam a gravar, Turning Season Within, no Fascination Street Studios, em Örebro. Este álbum foi lançado a 29 de Fevereiro de 2008.

Em outubro de 2010, foi anunciado no site oficial da banda que Draconian havia entrado em estúdio para começar a gravar seu novo álbum, afirmando que a libertação poderia ser esperado na Primavera de 2011.

      O álbum, de acordo com a banda, têm um estilo mais perto de seus álbuns mais antigos, incorporando violinos em algumas de suas faixas. No dia 24 de junho de 2011, Draconian lançou seu novo álbum A Rose for the Apocalypse.        No dia 15 de novembro de 2011, Lisa Johansson deixou a banda por motivos pessoais, principalmente passar tempo em casa com sua família.

      In 1994 Johan Ericson (vocals and drums), Jesper Stolpe (vocals and bass) and Andy Hindenäs (guitar) set up the band Kerberos. The initial proposal of a melodic death heavy going against the black metal was soon left aside, in search of a proper sound within the gothic doom, investment that was only possible with the entrance of the singer and poet Anders Jacobsson, seven months after the Creation of the band, which changed the name to Draconian. Considered one of the heaviest Bands of Doom / Gothic, with dense melodies that remit notably to romanticism.

Shades of a Lost Moon, the first demo, was recorded in October 1995 and featured flutist and vocalist Jessica Eriksson, keyboardist and vocalist Susanne Arvidsson and Andreas Haag in the introduction of "My Nemesis". After the release of the demo in January 1996, guitarist Magnus Bergström joined the band. As they did not get any proposals from the publishers, they recorded a second demo, In Glorious Victory, in 1997. However, the result was not intended and the demo ended up not being released.

     Susanne Arvidsson left the band in 1997 for personal reasons and Andreas Karlsson was chosen for his place.

      After two years of solo concerts, the band entered the studio in August 1999 to record the demo The Closed Eyes of Paradise. Susanne Arvidsson was invited to do the female vocals. The demo had some production problems, so in May and June 2000 Andreas Karlsson, Anders Jacobsson and Johan Ericson tried to improve the mix of the album, before presenting it to fans.

Guitarist Andy Hindenäs left the band and was replaced by Johan Ericson, who left the drums in charge of Jerry Torstensson. Dark Oceans We Cry was recorded in 2002, and secured a contract with Napalm Records.

    The Swedes released their debut CD, Where Lovers Mourn in 2003. As soon as the release of this album ended, they set out to record the second work, Arcane Rain Fell (2005). The level reached by the band on this album is well characterized in the epic Death, Come Near Me and its 15 minutes of perfect development and high musicality, demonstrating an impressive evolution that leads them to figure, alongside names with My Dying Bride and November's Doom. The CD was recorded at Studio Underground in Västeras, Sweden, produced by Pelle Saether (Carnal Forge, Opera IX, Nightingale) and mastered by Peter in de Betou (Opeth, Amon Amarth, Hypocrisy). The pains expressed in the lyrics of the songs were well translated by the art of Travis Smith (Anathema, Death, Katatonia).

The third album, The Burning Halo, was released in 2006.

Helena Michaelsen - Imperia

Helena Michaelsen foi revelada, como cantora lírica, pela banda norueguesa de symphonic metal"Trail of Tears", cujo elenco da qual integrou, como vocalista, por 3 anos, de 1997 a 2000, e com a qual gravou 3 álbuns de estúdio, a saber: a demo "When Silence Cries...", de 1997, e os álbuns "Disclosure in Red" e "Profoundemonium", lançados respectivamente em 1998 e em 2000.

Em 2002, interpretou, como participação especial, as linhas melódicas vocais no álbum "Infinity of Chaos", do grupo de gothic metal industrial "Black Horizon".

Participou da formação original da banda de symphonic metal neerlandesa "Epica" (quando esta ainda se chamava "Sahara Dust"), onde permaneceu durante cerca de um ano, nos idos de 2002, trabalhando ao lado do compositor, arranjador, orquestrador, cantor e instrumentista holandês Mark Jansen, não obstante, tendo se desligado da banda antes que esta lançasse sua primeira demo, "Cry for the Moon", em 2003.
