Lordi é uma banda de hard rock proveniente de Helsinki, Finlândia. Existe desde 1996, mas só ficou conhecida em 2002, ficando mundialmente famosa depois de vencerem o Festival Eurovisão da Canção 2006 com o tema "Hard Rock Hallelujah".
No início da década de 1990, Putaansuu tocava em uma pequena banda de Rovaniemi. A banda realmente implicitamente prometeu este show para os finlandeses durante o placar no final da Eurovisão, em Atenas. Como se tornava cada vez mais claro que iriam ganhar, a banda Lordi segurou um cartaz dizendo "tavataan Torilla!" ( "Nos vemos na Praça do Mercado!") na frente das câmeras de TV.
O concerto começou às 18:00 horas, quatro bandas finlandesas abriram o show (todos contratados com SonyBMG): Kilpi, PMMP, Egotrippi e Happoradio. Lordi se apresentou às 21:00 horas e realizou seis canções:

As it became increasingly clear that they would win, the band Lordi held a sign saying "tavataan Torilla!" ("See you on the Market Square") in front of TV cameras.
The concert started at 18:00, four Finnish bands opened the show (all contracted with SonyBMG): Kilpi, PMMP, and Egotrippi Happoradio. Lordi performed at 21:00 hours and performed six songs:
