Angela Gossow sai do Arch Enemy

Olá para todos os metalheads do mundo ! Hoje pela manha saiu uma nota direto do site do Arch enemy , dizendo que Angela Gossow saiu dos vocais e quem a substituirá será  Alissa White-Gluz da banda the Agonist ...

No começo de junho desse ano, o ARCH ENEMY lançará seu nono álbum de estúdio, “War Eternal”, através do Selo Century Media Records. Com o vindouro lançamento, a banda apresentará uma nova integrante: ALISSA WHITE-GLUZ, ex-vocalista da banda canadense THE AGONIST. ANGELA GOSSOW, que entrara para o grupo em 2000 saíra do posto de frontwoman e passará a dedicar-se ao empresariamento, enquanto Alissa a substitui.

Angela comenta:

“Caros fãs do ARCH ENEMY, isso não é fácil de dizer a vocês… eu decidi me afastar da função de vocalista raivosa do Arch Enemy. Depois de 13 anos de puro Metal, 6 álbuns de estúdio e incontáveis turnês ao longo de cinco continentes, eu sinto a necessidade de entrar em uma nova fase da minha vida. Contudo, eu permanecerei como empresária do Arch Enemy, e continuarei a desenvolver meu negócio de administração de talentos artísticos. Estou me mantendo fiel às minhas raízes do heavy metal, apenas deixo a luz da ribalta, por assim dizer. Eu estou passando a tocha para a super-talentosa Alissa White-Gluz, que é uma amiga querida e uma vocalista soberba há vários anos. Eu sempre achei que ela merecesse uma chance de brilhar – e agora ela a está tendo. Assim como eu tive essa chance em 2001.

Eu quero agradecer a todos os fãs do Arch Enemy, nossas gravadoras Century Media e Trooper Entertainment, nossa dedicada equipe técnica, e em particular a Michael, Daniel e Sharlee por todo seu amor e apoio durante todos esses anos. Foi uma bela jornada! Conquistamos todas as situações, passamos por poucas e boas juntos no período mais excitante e recompensante de toda minha vida. Obrigada a vocês todos por estarem lá comigo no palco, em frente ao palco, e nos bastidores. Vocês tocaram meu coração, e eu espero poder dar algo de volta a vocês. Estou eletrizada por ter a oportunidade de trabalhar com músicos tão maravilhosamente talentosos os quais também considero grandes amigos.
