Hoje falaremos de mais uma grande banda da Finlândia .  A Finlândia tem se mostrado muito forte no cenario do metal , faz muito tempo e cada vez mais , surpreendendo a todos .
   Bandas como : Sonata Arctica , Stratovarius , Tarot , Louituma , Värttinä , Lordi  e Nightwish são algumas entres tantas bandas maravilhosas que surgiram de lá . As vezes amadas e outras vezes odiadas hoje , não é dia de falar de nenhuma delas , mas sim de uma que tem muito o que dizer .
  Ela se chama Turisas .

 Turisas é uma banda finlandesa de Folk Metal sinfônico fundada em 1997 pelo vocalista Mathias Nygård e o guitarrista Jussi Wickström. Seu nome oriunda de um monstro marinho da mitologia finlandesa algumas vezes considerado um deus da guerra.

O título do primeiro álbum, Battle Metal, (lançado em 2004), deu origem ao termo do mesmo nome, sendo usado com uma descrição do Folk Metal (principalmente pela revista Metal Hammer e seus leitores). Porém, o Battle Metal não é caracterizado como um subgênero do Metal.

Em outubro de 2005, tempo depois do lançamento do primeiro álbum, o guitarrista, George Laakso, sofreu um acidente de carro e, devido a extensão de sua lesão medular, em julho de 2006 declarou sua demissão definitiva da banda.

Mesmo com o acidente de Laakso, a banda continuou a trabalhar, e em seu segundo álbum, intitulado The Varangian Way, o guitarrista Jussi Wickström assumiu a posição de Laakso na guitarra para gravá-lo.

Today we will talk about another great band from Finland. Finland has been very strong in metal scenery, long ago and increasingly, surprising everyone.

    Bands like: Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius, Tarot, Louituma, Värttinä, Lordi and Nightwish are some wonderful entres so many bands that came from there. Sometimes loved and sometimes hated today is not the day to talk to any of them, but that has a lot to say.

  Turisas is a Finnish folk metal band symphonic founded in 1997 by vocalist Mathias Nygård and guitarist Jussi Wickstrom. Its name derived from a sea monster mythology Finnish sometimes considered a god of war.

The title of the first album, Battle Metal, (released in 2004), gave rise to the term of the same name and is used with a description of folk metal (mainly by Metal Hammer magazine and its readers). But the Battle Metal is not characterized as a subgenre of metal.

In October 2005, long after the release of the first album, guitarist, George Laakso, suffered a car accident and, due to the extent of his spinal cord injury in July 2006 declared his resignation definitive banda.

Even with the accident Laakso, the band continued to work, and on their second album, titled The Varangian Way, guitarist Jussi Wickstrom took the position Laakso on guitar to record it.

A 33 anos perde-se uma grande voz no Metal ... Bon Scott

Olá pequenos headbandgers do mundo , hoje falaremos de uma pessoa , cujo o nome é Ronald Belford Scott   . Lendo dessa forma , muitos não saberiam quem ele é , mas ao falar Mr Bon Scott , muitas lagrimas escorreram .  

Bon Scott foi o primeiro vocalista de uma das maiores bandas de Rock in Roll do mundo ( AC DC ) nasceu em Forfar, Escócia, em 9 de julho de 1946, filho de Charles Belford Scott e Isabelle Cunningham Mitchell.

Conhecido como Bon Scott, sua primeira inspiração no mundo do rock veio com Little Richard, um habilidoso e criativo músico americano que trouxe e ditou as bases do rock n’ roll nos anos 50.

Scott não só viveu de música no início de sua trajetória. A vida para os imigrantes não era fácil e o cenário musical do país era controlado por cartolas aproveitadores que pagavam muito pouco e vendiam falsas promessas de grande sucesso e fama nacional.

Trabalhou como carteiro, atendente de bar e por final, motorista, e foi nessa função que ele conheceu uma banda, que juntos, conquistariam o sucesso internacional.

Foi crescendo e vivendo nesse difícil cenário que Bon Scott criou hinos do rock n’ roll como It’s A Long Way to the Top, Let There Be Rock e Highway to Hell.

Tentar contar resumidamente a história desse grande músico é desmerecer fatos engraçados, superações, encrencas, festas, alegrias, tristezas, “Rosie” e detalhes que vão além de sua trágica morte em 19 de fevereiro de 1980.

Mas hoje, dia 19 de fevereiro de 2013, completa 33 anos que o grande Bon Scott partiu. Deixava o mundo (não geral, pois muitos céticos acusam de maneira equivocada ele e os membros do AC/DC de “adoradores do diabo”), e rock n’ roll entristecidos.

Seis meses após a morte de Scott, o AC/DC colocou em cena uma homenagem ao falecido vocalista. Apresentando o humilde e carismático Brian Johnson no vocal, fizeram o “Back in Black”, o disco de capa preta, que tem como sua primeira música “Hells Bells” trazendo um sino de introdução como uma forma de demonstrar o sinal de luto da banda.

O disco, até hoje, já vendeu mais de 52 milhões de cópias no mundo todo. É o segundo álbum mais vendido na história da música mundial. O álbum foi o fator que fez o AC/DC continuar tocando e fazendo esse rock n’ roll que assim como Bon Scott, jamais será esquecido por aqueles que curtem uma boa música, uma banda fiel e verdadeira como o AC/DC.

Dave Lombardo: Foi demitido do Slayer

Olá metalheads do mundo . Hoje uma das maiores bandas de theash metal do mundo acaba de ter uma grande perda em seu grupo .
   Não , ninguém morreu . Mas o baterista Dave Lombardo foi demitido do Slayer .
O Slayer faz parte do BIG FOUR ou seja é uma das melhores bandas de metal do mundo .Eles estão a ativa desde 1981 , porém só teve fama mesmo a partir de 1986 com o Álbum  Reign in Blood.
O Slayer foi formado em 1981, quando o guitarrista Kerry King encontrou Jeff Hanneman enquanto fazia audição para uma banda. Os dois recrutaram o baixista evocalista Tom Araya, que havia tocado com King anteriormente em outra banda. O baterista Dave Lombardo foi recrutado quando ele conheceu King entregando uma pizza.A banda tocou versões cover do Iron Maiden e do Judas Priest, em clubes e festas no sul da Califórnia. Anteriormente,seus shows basearam-se em uma imagem satânica, que incluía pentagramas, maquiagem, espículas e cruzes invertidas. Existe um rumor que a banda era originalmente conhecida como Dragonslayer, por um filme de mesmo nome de 1981. No entanto, quando King foi perguntado "Como você pôde usar o nome Dragonslayer?" King teria respondido "Nós nunca usamos este nome, é um mito daquela época."
   A banda foi convidada para abrir o show da banda "Bitch" no Woodstock Club em Los Angeles, tocando oito músicas — sendo seis covers. O Comunicado de Dave aos fans , pegou todas as pessoas do mundo de surpresa e ela diz o seguinte :
  

 Lombardo pede desculpas aos fãs da Austrália que compraram os ingressos esperando que ele estivesse presente. Ele diz ter sido informado no dia 14/02/2013 (quinta-feira passada) que não seria mais o baterista da turnê e que isso deixou-o muito triste e chocado.

Lombardo também comenta que no ano passado havia descoberto que 90% da renda da turnê havia sido utilizada para pagar despesas com managers, etc. e que somente 10% restou para ser dividido entre os 4 membros. Ele afirma que essa não é a maneira correta de uma banda agir com seus negócios.

Ele comenta também que, junto a Tom Araya, contratou alguns auditores para descobrir o que realmente estava acontecendo mas que não tiveram acesso aos dados detalhados e aos documentos necessários.

Na última segunda-feira houve uma reunião entre os membros da banda e, segundo ele, tentou propor um novo modelo de negócio à banda mas Kerry King não concordou com isso e afirmou que, caso Lombardo não concordasse, deveria deixar a banda.

No último ensaio marcado, Lombardo afirma que compareceu ao local mas Kerry King não apareceu e, alguma horas depois, recebeu um e-mail dos advogados informando-o que ele estava sendo substituído na turnê australiana.

Nós, fãs da banda, esperamos que tudo se resolva da melhor forma possível e que isso não seja sinal de que mais um dos membros originais não esteja presenta no palco (Jeff Hannemann ainda se recupera do incidente onde uma aranha picou seu braço). Esperamos também que o fim da banda esteja realmente longe!

  Essa é mais uma dentre tantas bandas que ou demitem alguém sem ao menos dar uma chance a si mesmos ou então dão uma carta dizendo isso . 

  Novamente isso acontece no mundo do metal . Até quando perderemos alguém tão importante na banda ? Esperamos que tanto Dave como os outros membros da banda sigam suas vidas numa boa ....

   No, nobody died. But drummer Dave Lombardo of Slayer was fired.

The Slayer is part of the BIG FOUR ie is one of the best metal bands in the world. They are active since 1981, but only had fame even after 1986 with the album Reign in Blood.

Slayer was formed in 1981 when guitarist Kerry King met Jeff Hanneman while auditioning for a band. The two recruited bassist Tom Araya evocalista, who had played with King before in another band. Drummer Dave Lombardo was recruited when he met King delivering a pizza.A band played cover versions of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, at clubs and parties in Southern California. Previously, his shows relied on a Satanic image, which featured pentagrams, make-up, spikes, and inverted crosses. There is a rumor that the band was originally known as Dragonslayer, for a film of the same name from 1981. However, when King was asked "How could you use the name Dragonslayer?" King would have responded "We never use this name, it is a myth that time."

   The band was invited to open the show's banda "Bitch" at the Woodstock Club in Los Angeles, performing eight songs - six being covers. While playing "Phantom of the Opera" by Iron Maiden the band was spotted by Brian Slagel, a former music journalist who had recently founded Metal Blade Records. Impressed with Slayer's performance, Slagel met with the band backstage and asked them to record an original song, "Aggressive Perfector" for the next compilation: Metal Massacre III. The band agreed and the song created, which led to Slagel offering the band a recording contract with Metal Blade .. Now that I told a little about the band, let's talk about more important here ..

 Lombardo apologizes to fans in Australia who bought tickets hoping he was present. He says he was informed on 02.14.2013 (last Thursday) that it would not be the drummer on the tour and it made him very sad and shocked.
