Finntroll

      Bom dia , boa tarde e boa noite para todos os metalheads do brasil e do mundo . Hoje eu irei falar para vocês um pouco mais sobre uma banda de folk metal finlandes , chamado Finntroll . Sabemos que a algum tempo muitas bandas de folk metal de vários lugares do mundo começam a aparecer . Um com elementos ou instrumentos diferentes , porem com musicas intensas e profundas que mexiam com a imaginação do publico . Uma dessas bandas é o Finntroll.

       Good morning, good afternoon and good night to all metalheads in Brazil and the world. Today I’m going to tell you a little more about a Finnish folk metal band called Finntroll. We know that some time, many folk metal bands from around the world start to appear. One with different elements or instruments, but with intense and deep music that stirred the public's imagination. One of these bands is Finntroll.

      Finntroll was founded in 1997 with a line-up which included guitarist Teemu "Somnium" Raimoranta and vocalist/lyricist Jan "Katla" Jämsen. A year later they were joined by guitarist Samuli "Skrymer" Ponsimaa, drummer Samu "Beast Dominator" Ruotsalainen, keyboardist Henri "Trollhorn" Sorvali and bassist Sami "Tundra" Uusitalo, creating the first stable line-up of the band. The band's first demo, Rivfader, released the same year.

Their second album, Jaktens Tid, was released in 2001. The following summer, the band had their first time playing festivals in Finland and other countries.

      The year after the release of the album Jaktens Tid proved to be a misfortune for Finntroll: some tours had to be cancelled, and vocalist Jämsen had to retire from the band due to a viral-based tumor in his vocal cords which could not be removed surgically; he retired after the release of the EP Visor om slutet. The EP was recorded in early January 2003, in a forest cabin near Helsinki. It was an "acoustical experiment", where Jämsen and the new vocalist Tapio Wilska (of Sethian and Lyijykomppania) shared the singing duties among them. Visor om slutet was released as a mid-price EP and held rank on the Finnish midprice chart for several weeks.

     On March 16, 2003, shortly before the release of Visor om slutet, guitarist Teemu Raimoranta died when he fell off a bridge in Hakaniemi, Helsinki. Although they had lost their last remaining founding members in this tragic event, the band did not dissolve, but after some time decided to go on, touring Europe for two weeks, supported by the band Katatonia. Guitarist Mikael Karlbom was hired as a replacement for Raimoranta.

      In 2004, the band released an EP, Trollhammaren ("The Trollhammer"), a prequel to the soon to follow album Nattfödd ("Nightborn"). Also in 2004, Trollhorn stopped touring with the band, prompting touring musicians to be hired to fill the void left in his absence. Aleksi "Virta" Virta joined the band in an official capacity as second keyboardist in 2005.

      On January 29, 2006, Tapio Wilska, vocalist of the band since 2003, was fired from the band. In a statement issued on the band's website, Wilska stated that he would like to keep the reason for his dismissal private.

   Following Wilska's parting with the band, they decided to take on Mathias "Vreth" Lillmåns of Chthonian and Twilight Moon as a full-time member on vocals.

    A new album, titled Ur jordens djup ("From the Depths of the Earth"), was released March, 2007. This fourth album put more emphasis on epic keyboard riffs with very loud but melodic guitar. Former vocalist Katla was brought in to write the lyrics for this album, and continues in this capacity with the band. The last song contains an acoustic hidden track entitled Trollvisan which can be heard at 11:03 minutes. It is commonly believed to be the installment's "Aamund och Kettil song", yet there is no mention of the two priests in the lyrics, the song rather refers to "de kristna" ("the Christians") in general.

    The band has recorded a live performance for its upcoming first live DVD. A release date is yet to be confirmed. They have released their fifth album, titled Nifelvind("Underworld's Winds"), and Katla has again written the lyrics. The progress on the album was recorded by Trollhorn in a studio diary. On January 15, 2010 Finntroll released a music video for the new song "Solsagan" on their MySpace page in preparation for the album release. The new album was then released in February 2010.

The band's sixth studio album Blodsvept was released on March 25, 2013. 

     On May 13, 2014, drummer Samu Ruotsalainen revealed that he would be departing the band in July of that year; the parting was confirmed to be amicable by the band. He was replaced by Heikki "Mörkö" Saari.

     In June 2014, the band released a live album, Natten med de Levande Finntroll ("Night of the Living Finntroll"). Thomas Woroniak of RockRevolt Magazine stated "Natten Med De Levande Finntroll is a must-have for any dedicated Finntroll fan. Followers of the group have been waiting a long time for a live recording...the music is unique and vibrant in color and tonality, and the performance is exceptional." 

    On June 25, 2020, the band announced that their next album, titled Vredesvävd, would be released on September 18.

     This is a little bit of the history of this great band that grows and appears every year. During the pandemic, I did some interviews with some bands and one of the bands or (members that hosted this interview was Mathias, lead singer of finntroll) I will post this wonderful and fun interview soon ..

Hello for all . Welcome to my blog today we have one interview with Joel Hoekstra Guitar Player of Whitesnake .

Joel: Hello? Hi? I lost you for a second. What did you say?
Bianca: Well .. it's starting now.
Joel: Okay. 
Bianca: What was your biggest influence before and today in Rock?
Joel: Hamm .. I don't know if I understood the question very well. "What is my biggest influence?" 
Bianca: That, in the world of heavy metal, to play.
 Joel: Well, when I was a kid, it was certainly Angus Young that made me start playing guitar, listening and watching Angus Young and AC / DC playing guitar really changed my life. And since then several others .. I had many excellent teachers as a child, because I had an excellent local setting as a child. Great bands and instrumentalists and all those people who were playing inspired me and with whom I worked. In terms of bands and people that I admire in those bands the list is huge, it would take quite a while.
Bianca: How old were you at that time? 10, 15 years? 
Joel: I started playing guitar at 11.
Bianca: Wow, really cool. And for you, what is your favorite guitar? Over time and now. 
Joel: Certainly Les Pauls. Gibson's Les Pauls are definitely my favorites and I've been playing with them for a long time. I traveled the world with her, I have a special bond with this guitar.
Bianca: Very cool, I also like them, Gibson, I have been listening to Jimmy Paige for a long time, who for me is also a great guitarist.
Joel: Yes, absolutely. I love Jimmy Paige

Bianca: Yeah, and now, currently, who is your favorite guitarist in the world? In your opinion.
Joel: Well, I don't have a favorite to tell you the truth, I mean, I admire a lot of guitarists, but I tend not to get too attached to guitarists like I did when I was younger, I basically admire everyone and I kind of try to capture the best in each of them, more than having a favorite.

Bianca: Yeah .. Angus Young was really perfect on his shows. I've been following your work for a long time, with Cher and Whitesnake, and my question now is: How do you feel or what difference do you feel between playing with Cher and David Coverdale? 
Joel: I mean, it's completely different things, with Cher it's a pop show, so I'm there in the background most of the time, even though sometimes they make it stand out which is very important. But Whitesnake is the guitarist's dream show, I do the accompaniments all the time, and the solos of all the songs, David also does his solos live, so they are very different situations in terms of how much they allow me to appear on the show, but I am grateful for any opportunity I have to play guitar and live off it and get paid to improve as a guitarist.
Bianca: Yeah, for me it's great, because last year you did a show in Brazil and it was an extraordinary show. Do you like playing in my country? It's because?
 Joel: Yes, I would say that Brazilian fans are probably the best in the world, always so enthusiastic and sing along, it is always a higher level of energy in Brazil than in any other country in the world, I would dare say. 
Bianca: Yeah, a lot of people say that about Brazilians, because now is a great time, I mean, not now with the corona virus, but then it will be a great time to come and play here and in other countries too.
Joel: Yes.
Bianca: And in your opinion, in this moment of the corona virus pandemic, what does it feel like? Is it as if in one second you are on tour and in the next without playing, without going out for anything, what is it like for you?
Joel: Yeah, I try to take it as if it were just any day, I try to be productive and do the best I can and so I'm playing guitar every day, I'm working on my album, and recording the guitars on the album every night , but I also wrote songs with some partners, I have done some sessions  Anyway, doing everything possible to continue producing during this time and so I just don't look at it as wasted time.
Bianca: Aham, and for you, after the situation with the corona virus, what are your projects? Will Whitesnake go on tour? Will you record a new album? What's the plans? 
Joel: To be honest I don't know, at the moment I'm focused on my album, finishing it and I'm also starting to work on a new VHF album, which is a project that I have with Tony Franklin and Todd Vinciguerra, which is mostly instrumental music only. We have already released an EP, inclusive, so besides my album I am working on this project too. As for playing live again, David Coverdale needed surgery to treat a hernia, I don't know if you knew it or not, but we practically had to cancel the appointments for the year so I am working as I can, doing acoustic shows with my friend (Brennon Gibbs ??), and also talking to other people to work as a guitarist on other tours of other bands, and of course if I can get to November / December and do a job with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra , I do this every year and I would like to continue then, I am looking forward to playing for you again as soon as this purification period is over and I hope that very soon we can do shows for a large audience again, let's see..
Bianca : Yeah, I wish you all success, for us, for you, it's a dangerous time with this disease, but let's all be well, everything will get better. Continuing, at some point in your life did you think “I don't think I want to play, work with music now, now I want to do something else, I want to teach or something else…”? 
Joel: If I'm not playing guitar, what do I like to do, is that your question? Or if I were not a guitarist what would I do with my life? Which one? Can repeat? 
Bianca: I can, if at some point in your life you thought about stopping playing the guitar and thought about doing something else. 
Joel: I get it ... But how do I work or play?
Bianca: For both. 
Joel: Both? There is a big difference in the questions, "if I were not a guitarist what would I be" and "outside playing guitar what I like to do".
Bianca: I'm asking if you ever thought about not being a guitar player and doing something else in your life. 
Joel: If I had to work with something else it would have to be something artistic and creative, but I'm not sure what, I would have to find out when that day comes and comes. The only thing I really know how to do is play the guitar, but I really like being creative, so something like that ... I also like marketing, so maybe I could work with that, create advertisements for causes that I believe in or something like this. 
Bianca: Hmmm right ... And what is the most bizarre story you have to tell? Can you tell us about a strange or bizarre situation that happened to you on stage or on tour?

Joel: Ohh, believe me, I've seen it all, I feel like I've had every possible experience, being hit by a catastrophic storm while playing, having last minute canceled shows, or whatever, you choose. I had several silly moments too, I fell on stage, all these things have already happened to me. I feel that I have had many, many experiences in my life.
 Bianca: hahah Yeah, sometimes it happens .. The last question, this one is easier. For you, in your opinion, what was your best show? Not that you played, but what was the best show you've ever seen? Joel: I think it was probably the first time I went to see a live show ... Because I was young and everything was really cool, I went to see Iron Maiden on the Piece of Mind Tour, where Riot was the opening band and I I was in seventh grade, so it was as soon as I started to learn to play guitar, at 11 years old, I was very young, I think this show, because it was so cool and I was such a child.
Bianca: Well, I thought everything was great , I am very grateful for your time with me. It was just a few short questions, but thank you for your time.

Joel: Olá? Oi? Eu perdi você por um segundo. O que você disse?
Bianca: Bom.. Está começando agora.
Joel:Ok.

Bianca: Qual a sua maior influencia antes e hoje no Rock?
Joel: Hamm.. Não sei se entendi muito bem a pergunta. “Qual é a minha maior influência?”
 
Bianca: Isso, no mundo do heavy metal, para tocar.

Joel: Bom, quando eu era criança, com certeza foi o Angus Young que me fez começar a tocar guitarra, ouvir e assistir o Angus Young e o AC/DC tocando guitarra realmente mudou a minha vida. E desde então vários outros.. Eu tive muitos excelentes professores quando criança, porque eu tinha um excelente cenário local quando criança. Ótimas bandas e instrumentistas e toda aquelas pessoas que estavam tocando me inspiraram e com quem eu trabalhei. Em termos de bandas e pessoas que eu admiro nessas bandas a lista é enorme, levaria um bom tempo. 
Bianca: Quantos anos você tinha nessa época? 10, 15 anos?

Joel: Eu comecei a tocar guitarra aos 11. 
Bianca: Nossa, muito legal. E para você, qual a sua guitarra favorita? Ao longo do tempo e agora.

Joel: Com certeza Les Pauls. Les Pauls da Gibson são definitivamente as minhas favoritas e eu venho tocando com elas há muito tempo. Eu viajei o mundo com ela, tenho um laço especial com essa guitarra.
Bianca: Muito legal, eu também gosto delas, das Gibson, há muito tempo eu ouço Jimmy Paige que pra mim também é um ótimo guitarrista.
Joel: Sim, com certeza. Amo Jimmy Paige
Bianca: Pois é, e agora, atualmente, qual é o seu guitarrista favorito no mundo? Na sua opinião.
Joel: Bom, eu não tenho um favorito pra falar a verdade, quero dizer, eu admiro muitos guitarristas, mas eu tendo a não me apegar demais aos guitarristas como eu fazia quando era mais jovem, eu basicamente admiro a todos e meio que tento captar o que há de melhor em cada um deles, mais do que ter um favorito.
Bianca: É.. Realmente, o Angus Young foi perfeito nos shows dele. Eu acompanho o seu trabalho há muito tempo, com a Cher e com o Whitesnake, e a minha pergunta agora é: Qual é a sua sensação ou qual a diferença que você sente entre tocar com a Cher e o David Coverdale?

Joel: Quero dizer, são coisas completamente diferentes, com a Cher é um show pop, então eu estou lá de plano de fundo na maioria do tempo, mesmo que as vezes eles deem um destaque que é muito importante. Mas no Whitesnake é o show dos sonhos de qualquer guitarrista, faço os acompanhamentos o tempo inteiro, e os solos de todas as musicas, David também faz os solos dele ao vivo, então são situações muito diferentes em termos de quanto eles me permitem aparecer no show, mas eu sou grato por qualquer oportunidade que eu tenha de tocar guitarra e viver disso e ser pago para melhorar como guitarrista.

Bianca: É, pra mim é ótimo, porque no ano passado você fez um show no Brasil e foram shows extraordinários. Você gosta de tocar no meu país? E Porque?

Joel: A sim, eu diria que os fãs brasileiros são provavelmente os melhores do mundo, sempre tão entusiasmados e cantam junto, é sempre um nível mais alto de energia no Brasil que em qualquer outro país do mundo, eu ousaria dizer.

Bianca: Pois é, muita gente diz isso dos brasileiros, porque agora é um ótimo momento, quero dizer, não agora com o corona vírus, mas depois será um ótimo momento para vir tocar aqui e em outros países também.
Joel: Sim..

Bianca: E na sua opinião, nesse momento de pandemia do corona vírus, qual a sua sensação? É como se num segundo você estivesse em turnê e no outro sem tocar, sem sair para nada, como está sendo pra você?

Joel: Pois é, eu tento levar como se fosse um dia qualquer, tento ser produtivo e fazer o melhor naquilo que eu posso e então estou tocando guitarra todos os dias, estou trabalhando no meu álbum, e gravando as guitarras do álbum todas as noites, mas eu também escrevi músicas com alguns parceiros, tenho feito algumas sessions e dado algumas aulas por Skype... Enfim, fazendo todo o possível para continuar produzindo durante esse tempo e então eu simplesmente não olho pra isso como tempo perdido.
Bianca: Aham, e para você, depois da situação com o corona vírus, quais são os seus projetos? O Whitesnake sairá em turnê? Gravará um novo álbum? Quais são os planos?

Joel: Pra ser bem sincero eu não sei, no momento eu estou focado no meu álbum, em termina-lo e também estou começando a trabalhar em um novo álbum do VHF, que é um projeto que eu tenho com o Tony Franklin e o Todd Vinciguerra , que é na grande maioria só de musicas instrumentais. Nós já lançamos um EP, inclusive, então fora o meu álbum estou trabalhando nesse projeto também. Quanto a voltar a tocar ao vivo, o David Coverdale precisou de uma cirurgia para tratar uma hérnia, não sei se você estava sabendo ou não, mas nós tivemos praticamente que cancelar os compromissos do ano por isso, então eu estou trabalhando como posso, fazendo shows acústicos com meu amigo (Brennon Gibbs??), e também falando com outras pessoas para trabalhar como guitarrista em outras turnês de outras bandas, e é claro se eu conseguir chegar a novembro/dezembro e fazer um trabalho com a Trans-Siberian Orchestra, eu faço isso todos os anos e gostaria de continuar então, estou ansioso para voltar a tocar para vocês assim que esse período de purificação acabar e espero que muito em breve a gente possa fazer shows para um publico grande novamente, vamos ver..

Bianca: Pois é, eu desejo todo o sucesso para todos, para nós, para vocês, é um momento perigoso com essa doença, mas vamos todos ficar bem, tudo vai melhorar.
Continuando, em algum momento na sua vida você chegou pensar “Acho que agora não quero mais tocar, trabalhar com musica, agora eu quero fazer outra coisa, quero ensinar ou qualquer outra coisa..”?

Joel: Se eu não estou tocando guitarra, o que eu gosto de fazer, é essa a sua pergunta? Ou se eu não fosse guitarrista o que eu faria da vida? Qual das duas? Pode repetir?

Bianca: Posso sim, se em algum momento da sua vida você pensou em parar de tocar guitarra e pensou em fazer outra coisa.

Joel: Entendi... Mas como trabalho ou como recreação?
Bianca: Para ambos.

Joel: Ambos? É que tem uma diferença grande nas perguntas, “se eu não fosse um guitarrista o que eu seria” e “fora tocar guitarra o que eu gosto de fazer”.
Bianca: Estou perguntando se você alguma vez já pensou em não ser mais guitarrista e em fazer outra coisa da sua vida.

Joel: Se eu tivesse que trabalhar com outra coisa teria que ser alguma coisa artística e criativa, mas não sei ao certo o que, eu teria que descobrir quando esse dia chegar e se chegar. A única coisa que eu sei fazer realmente é tocar guitarra, mas eu gosto muito de ser criativo, então, alguma coisa nesse sentido.... Eu também gosto de marketing, então talvez pudesse trabalhar com isso, criar propagandas para causas que eu acredito ou algo assim.

Bianca: Hmmm certo...  E qual é a historia mais bizarra que você tem para contar? Você pode contar alguma situação estranha ou bizarra que aconteceu com você no palco ou nas turnês? 
Joel: Ohh, acredite, eu já vi de tudo, sinto que eu tive todas as experiências possíveis, ser atingido por uma tempestade catastrófica enquanto tocava, ter apresentações canceladas de ultima hora, ou qualquer outra coisa, você escolhe. Tive vários momentos bobos também, caí no palco, todas essas coisas já aconteceram comigo. Sinto que tive muitas e muitas experiências na minha vida.

Bianca: hahah Pois é, as vezes acontece.. A última pergunta então, essa é mais fácil. Para você, na sua opinião, qual foi o seu melhor show? Não que você tenha tocado, mas qual foi o melhor show que você já assistiu?

Joel: Acho que provavelmente a primeira vez que eu fui ver um show ao vivo... Porque eu era jovem e tudo era muito legal, eu fui assistir ao Iron Maiden na Piece of Mind Tour, onde Riot era a banda da abertura e eu estava na sétima serie, então foi logo que eu comecei a aprender a tocar guitarra, aos 11 anos, eu era muito novo, acho que esse show, porque foi tão legal e eu era tão criança..

Bianca: Bom, eu achei tudo ótimo, estou muito grata pelo seu tempo comigo. Foram apenas algumas perguntinhas, curtas, mas muito obrigada pelo seu tempo.

Joel: Ah, com certeza, eu que agradeço por ter pensado em mim para responder. Muito obrigado.

A minha visão dos shows do Europe , Whitesnake , Scorpions em Curitiba....my vision of Europe, Whitesnake, Scorpions shows in Curitiba - Paraná-Brazil

      Ingressos comprados com 4 meses de antecedência,pista Premium, lá na frente, ver meus ídolos de perto,  agora é só contar as horas,  os minutos e esperar  que Setembro chegue logo.

      Duas semanas depois caio na rua e fico de bota ortopédica durante longos 40 dias e agora? Como vou chegar lá na frente, como vou caminhar na Pedreira?  O tempo passou me recuperei e no dia 18/09/2019, após ter resolvido pendências familiares, partimos para o show. A meteorologia indicava chuva, mas quando não chove quando tem show na pedreira?     Sempre levamos capas de chuvas ....prevenidas

    E o show começa, Europe era a primeira vez que vinha para Curitiba, super simpáticos com o publico que cantava em algumas canções, mas que foi um coro só quando começou Carrie – que por sinal uma das mais lindas.

Europe, banda Sueca, iniciou em 79 com o nome ainda de Force, mudou para Europe em 82, para tornarem o nome mais comercial, quem teve a idéia da mudança de nome foi o vocalista Joey Tempest e o guitarrista John Norum.       Que ainda fazem parte da formação original, mais o baixista John Léven.

     A formação atual e que veio para o Brasil, além dos 3 citados acima, vieram o baterista:- Ian Haugland  e o tecladista Mic Michaelli que entraram em 85.

    A musica mais aguardada da noite era :- The Final Countdown, que também da nome ao álbum que vendeu mais de 15 milhões de cópias e que foi tema do filme Rock Balboa.

    Porém, isso não aconteceu, quando faltavam umas 3 músicas para o final, a chuva chegou e com ela algo que ninguém esperava....chuva de granizos e granizos grandes. 

     A Correria se iniciou, todos procuravam lugares para se proteger, Joey até tentou continuar a cantar, mas isso se tornou impossível, o granizo tomou conta do palco e algumas pedras acabaram o acertando e tiveram que sair rápido do palco pois poderia ser muito perigoso. Algumas pessoas que estavam mais longe e protegidas, gritavam para o show continuar, será que não viram a gravidade do momento?

     Foram alguns minutos que pareciam que não acabavam, posso dizer que foi um show marcante, pois fiquei com o corpo marcado pelos granizos, Joey Tempest, seu nome é muito sugestivo, trouxe tempestade para o show...

     Os Granizos cessaram, a chuva continuou fina, no palco a produção pediu um pouco de compreensão, para poderem se organizar, tiraram muito granizo do palco, de cima dos aparelhos, e depois de quase 1 hora show retornou.

     Agora era vez do Whitesnake, David Coverdale, banda inglesa, na hora da tempestade, havia feito uma live, no qual postava a chuva, dizendo que esperava que ninguém tivesse se machucado.

     A chuva continuava quando Coverdale entrou, tinha uma pista que ia até a frente do publico e ele falou : Não importa se eu fique doente, vou onde meus fâs estão, e vou cantar na chuva para vocês.

    E cantou e encantou abaixo de chuva, foi muito gratificante ouvir essas palavras, respeito ao público, já havia assistido um show deles em 2015, quando vieram com o Aerosmith,mas esse foi especial.

   A formação era composta pelos guitarristas Rob Beach e Joel Hoekstra ( que já foi guitarrista de ninguém mais do que a Cher); Tommy Aldridge ( no auge de seus 71 anos deu um show a parte na bateria....sensacional); Michael Devin, baixista e de Michele Luppi, o tecladista que foi um dos últimos a entrar na banda, um italiano cheio de charme. Todos interagiam com o público presente, foram na chuva tocar, como disse o Coverdale..onde os fãs estavam... todos com sorrisos, cantando muito e o que eram as roupas, me remeteu aos anos 70 ...fantasticos... Todas as musicas são lindas , mas “ It is Love”, essa é um hino eterno.Uma curiosidade Covardale faria aniversario alguns dias depois, 22 de setembro e trouxe a família para comemorar no Brasil, 68 anos.

    Terminou a segunda parte, a chuva continua, e entra o Scorpions, banda alemã, uma das primeiras de Hard Rock, o nome original era Naneless, que significa aqueles sem nome, surgiu em 65 e em 69, mudou o nome para The Scorpions. 

     Mas, voltando ao show, agora tem luzes, projeção e entra o Sr Klaus Meine, 71 anos de idade, 50 anos de carreira e também reverencia o público e vai cantar na chuva...o que era ele assobiando abaixo de chuva o seu hino “ Wind of Change”, essa música é linda, foi inspirada nas mudanças – nos ventos das mudanças- que ocorreram na Europa após a Guerra fria, como o muro de Berlim.

       A formação da banda :- Klaus Meine ( vocalista, guitarrista, percussão), Rudolf Schenker ( guitarrista e um dos fundadores da banda), Mathias Jabs, também guitarrista, Pawel Maciwoda ( baixista) e nada mais nada menos que o nosso lendário  e conhecido Mikkey Dee, ex Mothorhead e que entrou em 2016 na bateria.

     Alias, Mikkey fez um solo de bateria, enquanto ela subia e o deixava no ar...muito bom, e mais uma vez os guitarristas vão tocar na chuva.

    Esse show mostrou que a idade não importa quando fazemos algo que amamos, foi sem palavras assistir a esses 3 shows, voltamos ensopados e no caminho de volta para casa, descendo da Pedreira para pegar taxis, ônibus e Uber, alguém puxa o refrão...da musica :- Rock You Like a Hurricane e todos nos descemos cantando , ensopados, marcados pelos granizos, mas felizes, por assistir a 3 grandes bandas que já fizeram e ainda fazem muita história...Pena que o Halloween, que os acompanhou nas outras cidades, e não veio aqui em Curitiba, pois segundo especulações, tinham que fazer escolhas..

     Foram aproximadamente 07 shows que eles fizeram juntos no Brasil, Europe, Whitesnake, Scorpions.

Scorpions foi eleito o melhor show do Rock in Rio 2019, cantou após o Iron Maiden,a muitos anos atrás, o Iron abria os shows do Scorpions.

    Á partir de hoje, nosso blog inicia uma serie de entrevistas com bandas de metal, TANTO COM BANDAS INICIANTES, assim como aquelas que já estão a ALGUM tempo na estrada.

     Abrimos essa série com banda sueca palantÍr

   1) Porque este nome E o seu significado?

 MARCUS:- O nome foi retirado dos trabalhos de J.R.R Tolkien, palantír é uma pedra de visão mágica, como as clássicas bolas de cristal que as bruxas costumam usar em histórias antigas.

   2) A quanto tempo que a banda existe? É a formação inicial?

MARCUS:- A banda existe desde 2010, passamos por muitas mudanças na formação ao longo dos anos.

  3) Quantos são os integrantes e quais os instrumentos que cada um toca?

MARCUS:-  Somos 6 membros.

eu sou O Vocalista;   Fred e Calle guitarristas; Emanuel na bateria e Johannes no teclado; Bror recentemente deixou a banda como baixista,

mas encontramos um substituto. Este homem misterioso será revelado em algum momento quando o próximo álbum estiver pronto.

  4) Vocês receberam influencia de alguma banda? Qual? 

Marcus:-  Nós temos muitas influências diferentes.

Alguns dos mais óbvios incluem Edguy, Rhapsody, Stratovarius, Helloween e Gamma Ray. Algumas de minhas personalidades incluem Kate Bush, Ayreon, Voyager, DIO e Iron Maiden.

  5) Qual é o hit mais bem sucedido da banda no momento?

MARCUS:-  De acordo com spotify é "Escaping Reality".

Porém, os gostos dos fãs e amigos são variados, todos eles me dão respostas diferentes, o que é muito divertido de ouvir. Porque isso significa que criamos um álbum de qualidade e tudo se resume aos seus gostos pessoais.

  6 ) em seus projetos para 2019, esta incluso alguma turnê? 

Marcus:- estamos focados em escrever e produzir nosso segundo álbum em 2019, quanto a turnê dependerá muito se o álbum estiver pronto. 

 7 ) Qual é o seu maior sonho?

Marcus:- viver de nossa música.

É um longo caminho a percorrer, mas vamos continuar perseguindo esse sonho.

 8) Você já fez algum show fora da Suécia?

 MARCUS: - Ainda não, mas esperamos fazer isso após o lançamento do próximo álbum.

 9) Com qual banda famosa você gostaria de compartilhar o palco?

MARCUS: - Pergunta difícil.

Existem tantas grandes bandas por aí, mas se Keldian para começar a fazer shows ao vivo, isso seria incrível. Abrir para o Gamma Ray também seria incrível!

  1) Why this name And its meaning?

 MARCUS: - The name was taken from the works of J.R.R Tolkien, palantír is a magical stone of vision, like the classic crystal balls that the witches usually use in ancient histories.

 2) How long has the band been? Is it the initial training?

MARCUS: - The band has existed since 2010, we have undergone many changes in training over the years.

 3) How many are the members and what instruments do each one play?

MARCUS: - We are 6 members.

I am the Vocalist; Fred and Street guitarists; Emanuel on drums and Johannes on keyboard; Bror recently left the band as a bass player,

but we found a substitute. This mysterious man will be revealed sometime when the next album is ready.

 4) Have you been influenced by any band? Which?

Marcus: We have many different influences.

Some of the more obvious ones include Edguy, Rhapsody, Stratovarius, Helloween and Gamma Ray. Some of my personalities include Kate Bush, Ayreon, Voyager, DIO and Iron Maiden.

  5) What is the band's most successful hit right now?

MARCUS: - According to spotify is "Escaping Reality".

However, the likes of fans and friends are varied, they all give me different answers, which is a lot of fun to listen to. Because that means we've created a quality album and it all boils down to your personal tastes.

 6) In your projects for 2019, is this even some tour?

Marcus: - We are focused on writing and producing our second album in 2019, how much the tour will depend on if the album is ready.

7) What is your biggest dream?

Marcus: - live from our music.

It's a long way to go, but let's continue to pursue that dream.

8) Have you ever done any shows outside of Sweden?

 MARCUS: Not yet, but we hope to do so after the release of the next album.

9) With which famous band would you like to share the stage?

MARCUS: Difficult question.

There are so many great bands out there, but if Keldian to start doing live shows, that would be awesome. Opening for Gamma Ray would also be awesome!
