Olá para todos os amantes de Heavy Metal! Como havia prometido, falarei de uma dentre diversas bandas de metal nacional. Gostaria de comentar sobre o cenário musical de Curitiba, que vem crescendo a cada ano e várias de suas bandas levam ao delírio os headbangers.
Hoje terei a honra de entrevistar uma dessas bandas curitibanas, e seu nome é Livin Garden. Gabriel Canoro, Baixista e vocalista, nos contará um pouco sobre sua carreira!

The proof is the only fan base that grows each year and strengthens the style more, and always new bands coming up. Em que ano o Livin Garden começou e como vocês se conheceram?
Gabriel:
Gabriel:
A banda foi formada em 2006 por mim, Daniel Doria e Vinni Zaninelli. Nos conhecemos no colégio e nos juntamos para ensaiar e ver o que acontecia. Com o passar do tempo, o Daniel e o Vinni deixaram a banda e eu segui em frente com o Roberto Krug e o Pablo Kravicz. Tivemos outros guitarristas até encontrar o Fernando Zecchinon, que fez a USA Tour com a gente e foi substituído pelo Daniel Doria, que recentemente retornou para a banda.

Geralmente sou eu quem dá o pontapé inicial para a maior parte das ideias e projetos, mas sempre fazemos nossas reuniões e tomamos as decisões juntos.
Bia:
As letras são compostas somente por você ou você recebe colaborações?
Gabriel:
Eu sempre escrevi todas as letras e sempre preferi dessa maneira para o primeiro disco e início das composições novas, mas agora, com a volta do Daniel (Doria), acabamos tendo algumas idéias muito boas para letras por parte dele e não havia motivo para não as usarmos.
Bia:
Quais são os assuntos abordados por vocês?
Gabriel:
São diversos. Desde experiências pessoais, o cotidiano, sentimentos, sonhos, festas. De qualquer maneira, gosto de deixar vários assuntos em aberto para que as pessoas que ouvirem ou lerem as letras possam interpretá-las a sua própria maneira.

Sobre o vídeo-clip de “Age Of Lies”, você poderia nos contar alguns detalhes de como foi a gravação?
Gabriel:
Foi uma experiência memorável. Foi nosso primeiro vídeo-clip, passamos um dia inteiro gravando todas as cenas. Mais de dez horas de trabalho contínuo e depois, mais um mês de edição e pós-produção. Felizmente tivemos uma equipe muito profissional, a Spin Filmes, que tomou conta de todos os detalhes e fez com que a qualidade e o resultado final ficassem acima do esperado.
Bia:
Poderiam citar algumas bandas/artistas que influenciaram ou ainda influenciam o trabalho de vocês no Livin Garden?
Gabriel:
Bom, todos nós somos fãs de vários artistas e bandas diferentes, então obviamente isso nos influencia de alguma maneira. Nós quatro passamos por KISS, Black Sabbath, Bon Jovi, 311, Pantera, The Black Crowes, Whitesnake, Black Label Society, e por aí vai...
Bia:
Existe alguma banda para qual vocês gostariam de abrir o show ou até fazer uma tour juntos?
Gabriel:
Obviamente! Abrir para qualquer grande banda do Rock sempre será uma honra. Pessoalmente, seria um sonho abrir para o KISS e para o Black Sabbath.
Bia:
Você acha que o público brasileiro sabe realmente dar valor para as bandas do Brasil?
Gabriel:
Não acho que valorizam as bandas do jeito que deveriam, mas também acredito que a música boa sempre terá seu espaço em qualquer parte do mundo. Este lance de bandas nacionais tem sido um assunto muito discutido nos últimos tempos, mas realmente não quero entrar neste mérito. Prefiro só continuar fazendo meu trabalho.
Bia:
Vez ou outra dizem que o Rock morreu ou está morrendo. Vocês acreditam que isso seja verdade?
Gabriel:
O Rock N’ Roll é o maior estilo de música do mundo, independente de quem concorde ou não, pois é algo que vai além da opinião e da compreensão das pessoas. Está vivo e muito bem. A prova disso é a base de fãs que só cresce a cada ano e fortalece o estilo cada vez mais, além de bandas novas surgindo sempre. Não morreu e não vai morrer.
Estamos aqui para ficar, amparar os que buscam abrigo na música e enlouquecer os pais de todo mundo com o som alto!

Existem várias bandas como Angra , Sepultura , Shamman , Korzus , Sárcofago , Silent Moon , Kattah , Seven Angles entre diversas outras que vem mostrando ao mundo do que o Brasileiro é capaz de criar . Porém todas essas bandas que não começaram hoje já tem uma longa história levando com sigo suas glórias e desgraças . Mas do que adianta falar de bandas que não só nós como o mundo já conhece ? E por essas e outras que mostrarei qu existem bandas iniciantes tão boas quanto eles .
Ao longo de cada mês falarei de algumas bandas inciantes de todo o terriotório nacional . Não prometo mostrar todos , mas sim mostrar uma boa parte para fazer você fã de metal ir aos shows não só de bandas conhecidas , mas também aquela que as vezes chamamos de mundialmente desconhecidas .

Twisted Sister
Hoje falaremos de uma das bandas mais amadas de Glamm Rock .. Seu nome é Twisted Sister !
Ao pensarem em uma banda que usava maquiagem exagerada , tinha uma aperencia feia pra caramba , mas um carisma e uma atitude no palco que além de fazer o público ir a loucura era muito divertida ! Sim estamos falando de Twisted Sister !
Ela é uma banda que surgiu nos Estados Unidos formada em 1972 ..
A cena de um moleque estourando o tímpano dos pais ao tocar rock and roll no volume mais alto do som ficou clássica com o Kiss, mas seus seguidores do Twisted Sister também merecem a analogia: o rock dos anos 70, misturado ao glam e ao grotesco, fez dos filhos de Alice Cooper e Kiss um outro clássico.
Jay Jay French (guitarra), Eddie "Fingers" Ojeda (guitarra) e Kenneth Harrison Neil juntaram-se em 75 e, embora French tenha criado o Twisted Sister em 1972 para fazer cover do glam rock, a banda completou-se em 1976 com a chegada do vocalista Dee Snider, um garoto apaixonado por Led Zeppelin, AC/DC e hard rock em geral, e do baterista Tony Petri.
Em 79, Mark "Animal" Mendoza assumiu o baixo. Mas foi só em 1982 que eles conseguiram um contrato para o primeiro álbum, Under the Blade (com o baterista A. J. Pero), que conquistou os fãs do underground.
You Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll, de 83, transformou-se em um clássico. Adicionando heavy metal ao seu som, o Twisted Sister consagrou-se na história do rock com o álbum Stay Hungry (84), que continha os hits I Wanna Rock, The Price e We're Not Gonna Take It que, de tão tocados nas rádios e na MTV, saturaram a imagem do grupo.
A banda tornou-se um símbolo para os adolescentes nos anos 80, chegando a ter tanta importãncia nos Estados Unidos que Dee Snider tornou-se garoto-propaganda do governo americano nos anos 80 numa campanha para encorajar jovens a ingressarem no Exército.
Devido a paixão desenfreada de alguns fãs mais afoitos, Dee chegou a fazer um seguro milionário de seus longos cabelos louros (seu cabelo ia abaixo da cintura) e alguns fãs tentavam arrancar mechas durante os shows da banda.
Dee também tem paixão por cinema, e investiu sua própria imagem e dinheiro num filme chamado Mórbido Silêncio, que foi lançado em esquema independente na época. O filme teve o roteiro escrito pelo próprio Snider e tornou-se cult. Robert Englund, o Freddy Krueger de A Hora do Pesadelo fez parte do elenco. Eles ainda lançaram Come Out and Play (85) e Love Is for Suckers, de 87, mas nunca mais alcançaram o sucesso de antes, colocando um fim na banda logo depois.
Em 1999, eles se reuniram para lançar material ao vivo do grupo e, em 2004, rearranjaram seus clássicos do Stay Hungry e os lançaram no álbum Still Hungry. Recentemente saiu um tributo a banda com importantes nomes do hard rock atual. Entre os fãs confessos da banda há nomes como Sebastian Bach, ex-Skid Row, Bret Michaels, do Poison e até Gene Simmons do KISS já teceu comentários elogiosos ao som do Twisted. Em 2007 a banda teve seu clássico I Wanna Rock presente no game Guitar Hero Encore:Rock's the 80'. I Wanna Rock também foi licenciada, em 2002 para o jogo G.T.A Vice City, podendo ser ouvida na própria rádio do game, V-ROCK...
O Twisted Sister fez um show em São Paulo em novembro de 2009. Essa foi primeira vez que a banda veio ao Brasil. A turnê mundial do Twisted Sister celebrou os 25 anos do disco "Stay Hungry", que apresentou para o mundo clássicos como "We're Not Gonna Take It", "I Wanna Rock" e "The Price..
Em 2010, em nova turnê, a banda retornou ao Brasil, realizando desta vez 2 shows, um em Curitiba/PR, em 26 de novembro, no Curitiba Master Hall e outro em São Paulo/SP, em 27 de novembro, no Via Funchal...
Eu fui até os shows e comprovei que eles estão tão bons como antes e a saúdade deles é enorme , espero vê-los em breve ...

Adicionando heavy metal ao seu som, o Twisted Sister consagrou-se na história do rock com o álbum Stay Hungry (84), que continha os hits I Wanna Rock, The Price e We're Not Gonna Take It que, de tão tocados nas rádios e na MTV, saturaram a imagem do grupo.
A banda tornou-se um símbolo para os adolescentes nos anos 80, chegando a ter tanta importãncia nos Estados Unidos que Dee Snider tornou-se garoto-propaganda do governo americano nos anos 80 numa campanha para encorajar jovens a ingressarem no Exército.
Devido a paixão desenfreada de alguns fãs mais afoitos, Dee chegou a fazer um seguro milionário de seus longos cabelos louros (seu cabelo ia abaixo da cintura) e alguns fãs tentavam arrancar mechas durante os shows da banda.
Dee também tem paixão por cinema, e investiu sua própria imagem e dinheiro num filme chamado Mórbido Silêncio, que foi lançado em esquema independente na época. O filme teve o roteiro escrito pelo próprio Snider e tornou-se cult. Robert Englund, o Freddy Krueger de A Hora do Pesadelo fez parte do elenco. Eles ainda lançaram Come Out and Play (85) e Love Is for Suckers, de 87, mas nunca mais alcançaram o sucesso de antes, colocando um fim na banda logo depois.
Em 1999, eles se reuniram para lançar material ao vivo do grupo e, em 2004, rearranjaram seus clássicos do Stay Hungry e os lançaram no álbum Still Hungry. Recentemente saiu um tributo a banda com importantes nomes do hard rock atual. O metal se divide em vários gêneros um deles é o Black Metal e uma das bandas mais conhecidas desse gênero é o Dimmu Borgir ..
Dimmu Borgir é uma banda norueguesa de symphonic black metal, sendo conhecida pelos seus virtuosos arranjos de teclados, agressividade e qualidade.
Dimmu Borgir iniciou suas atividades em 1993 e foi formada por Shagrath ( Samuel Shagrath ), Silenoz e Tjodalv. A formação ficou completa quando Stian Aarstad assumiu os teclados e Brynjard Tristan o baixo.

Em 1998, lançaram o Godless Savage Garden, que não teve repercussão mundialmente e não foi muito aceito pelos fãs. Porém, em 1999, com o lançamento do Spiritual Black Dimensions, o Dimmu Borgir conseguiu atingir um boa aceitação dos fãs.
"Apesar de suas musicas pesadas e sons agressivos, o Dimmu borgir não é uma banda satânica. A mídia fala demais", diz o vocalista Stian Thoresen.
Mas a fama veio à tona mesmo em 2001 com o lançamento do Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia, que para muitos é o melhor álbum da banda, e que teve grande aceitação do público. Com esse lançamento, a sua música expandia para o mundo inteiro. Logo depois do lançamento, saíram em turnê mundial, vindo pela primeira vez ao Brasil. Ainda com esse lançamento, lançaram dois álbuns ao vivo que são o Alive in Torment e o World Misanthropy e também saiu o primeiro DVD oficial da banda com cenas ao vivo no Wacken Open Air 2001 e com cenas de bastidores e dos lugares passados na turnê.
Dois anos depois, lançaram o Death Cult Armageddon, que também foi um marco na história da banda, levando ela a se expandir mais ainda, pois esse foi também um dos seus melhores álbuns lançados até hoje, ganhando o primeiro lugar das paradas norueguesas com apenas uma semana de lançamento.
Mais dois anos se passaram e desta vez lançaram uma regravação do seu segundo álbum. Este álbum teve uma boa aceitação do público, destaque para Sorgens Kammer Dell II. Também foi na turnê deste álbum que eles tocaram no Ozzfest e o show pode ser visto em uma edição especial do próprio disco.
Depois de uma grande turnê mundial e maior conhecimento do público, agora disparados na frente com um novo Black Metal, resolvem lançar um álbum conceitual e vem ao mundo o In Sorte Diaboli, lançamento muito bom que levou a banda a uma nova turnê mundial já passada pelo Wacken Open Air do ano passado e a turnê que estende até hoje que se espera até o meio do ano que vem. Com o lançamento do novo DVD, intitulado The Invaluable Darkness, com data marcado para 2 outubro, fãs esperam ansiosamente por esse lançamento que pretende mostrar cenas ao vivo da tunê The Invaluable Darkness Tour pelo mundial e o show gravado no Wacken Open Air 2007 e clipes.
Em Agosto de 2009 Mustis colocou no ar a seguinte declaração:
"Atenção a todos os fãs do meu trabalho com o DIMMU BORGIR: sinto que eu tenho que começar minha nota dizendo que a dedicação de vocês e o interesse em meu trabalho musical com o Dimmu Borgir têm sido muito apreciada por mim por muitos, muitos anos, e vocês têm me motivado a continuar com os trabalhos cada dia mais.
Estou informando a vocês que não estou mais associado à banda e deixei o grupo. Minha saída não foi totalmente da minha própria vontade, e senti que essa mudança era algo iminente para meu futuro. Meu tempo foi gasto vendo o fato de que muitas das músicas escritas por mim não haviam sido registradas propriamente com meu nome nos créditos. Apesar de o meu nome não aparecer em cada música, vamos dizer que uma grande parte dos álbuns como 'Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia' e 'In Sorte Diaboli' seriam bastante diferentes se eu não tivesse composto e criado o quanto criei. Infelizmente, baseado nas falhas terríveis no processo de comunicação e na falta de raciocínio lógico do porquê isso tinha sido feito desta forma, me encontrei batendo de parede em parede ao invés de encontrar uma solução profissional e razoável para o problema. Meus inquéritos e investigações sobre as questões que eu queria resolver fizeram com que no final eu fosse demitido do grupo. Sem discussões sobre isto, apenas 'adeus' (em uma mensagem de texto).
Em nota no site oficial a banda deu a seguinte declaração:
"Lamentamos informar que nos separamos de Vortex (baixo e vocais limpos) e Mustis (teclados). No entanto queremos deixar perfeitamente claro que a força criativa da banda está intacta, talvez ainda mais do que nunca. Com isso dito, estamos atualmente trabalhando no próximo álbum, e estamos ansiosos para iniciar um novo capítulo no legado que é o DIMMU BORGIR."
