Turnê do Manowar no Brasil

     Bom dia , boa tarde e boa noite a todos . Essa é uma pequena resenha do show da banda de metal Manowar que passou pelo Brasil em 2024 . 

    Antes de falar um pouco do show dessa banda , vou contar a vocês um pouco sobre a história deles. 

    A banda americana Manowar é de Auburn, Nova Iorque. O nome do grupo vem de um termo usado em inglês arcaico, precisamente man o' war ou man-of-war, que é um tipo de navio de guerra que esteve em uso entre os séculos XVI e XIX.

    O Manowar existe desde 1980 e contém com o Eric

Adams (vocalista ) , Joeydemaio ( baixista e líder da banda ) , Michael Angelo Bagio ( guitarrista ) e Anders Johansson na bateria. 

     Em seu primeiro álbum Batlle Hymns que tinha todo um arranjo , uma sonoridade impecável e uma narrativa profunda levou o nome Manowar para o mundo .

     Suas performances cheio de potência , excelência vocal , carisma e dedicação fizeram a banda alcançar o sucesso que eles tem até hoje . No

    A banda já passou pelo Brasil muitas vezes e sempre que podem dizem que o público Brasileiro é o mais fiel ao metal . Pois dizem aquilo que pensam . Gostando ou não de alguma coisa .

    Vale lembra que a banda já existe a mais de 44 anos ou seja eles não são mais tão novos quando começaram mas continuam tendo o mesmo amor e dedicação a música e ao metal .

     Durante essa semana o Manowar fez 3 shows pelo Brasil .. Curitiba, Brasília e Recife . 

    Em Curitiba ouveram pontos positivos e negativos do show .

Pontos positivos - 

Gerações novas escutando a banda pois os pais mostraram a seus filhos ou netos o que é um som de qualidade .

Uma espera de 28 anos desde a última vez que vieram para cá . Fãs que naquela época não puderam vir ao show por ser muito novo e a geração que foi naquela época voltou a rever seus guerreiros do metal. 

Eles estiveram em Curitiba em 1998 .

Todos da banda estavam empolgados , agitando a galera que pirava com suas notas e voz . Todos cantaram músicas em forma de coro para acompanhar a banda que estava no palco .

O vocalista Eric mostrando seu talento , carisma , sua excelente técnica vocal . Mostrando que idade é um número e não um problema.  

O guitarrista Michael Angelo Bagio fazia a guitarra sangrias com suas notas perfeitas e agitava o público com os seus riffs.

O baixista Joey estava um pouco introspectivo, porém aos poucos botou pra quebrar em seus riffs , deu um show a parte .

O baterista Anders literalmente quebrou a bateria com seus solos perfeitos em sintonia com as guitarras e o baixo .

    Pontos negativos do show .

     O show estava marcado para as 21 horas e a banda chegou atrasada 45 minutos . Não se sabe o real motivo pelo atraso mas eles entregaram com todo o coração um show inesquecível.

    Faltou comunicação com o público. Coisa que existia em outros anos .

     A banda foi embora sem o famoso Bis. 

   Parecia que Joey estava um pouco exausto , talvez doente . Se foi esse o motivo , esperamos que ele se recupere logo .

   Desejamos que a banda retorne para o Brasil em breve para continuar destruindo todos os inimigos do metal .

Lordi cancela shows na turnê Europeia

 Bom dia , boa tarde e boa noite .

   A banda de hard rock e heavy metal da Finlândia chamada Lordi acaba de postar em sua rede social o cancelamento de dois shows por conta de um problema de saúde que o líder da banda Mr Lordi ter passado mau . 

   Ele foi socorrido pelos médicos e já se encontra no hospital para que a sua saúde seja restabelecida rapidamente.

   A banda Lordi é conhecida por ser uma banda fantasiada com roupas de monstros e demônios e que faz um ótimo sucesso aqui no Brasil e fora dele .

   Essa turnê marca o 18* álbum da banda que conta com músicas mais fortes e pesadas . 

   O Lordi existe desde 2004 e já foi até mesmo apadrinhado pela banda Kiss por sua atitude e carisma cadavérico no palco .

   Esperamos que Mr Lordi fique bem e que logo essa turnê ocorra no Brasil 

Novo álbum do Nightwish

Novidades da banda Finlandesa Nightwish

  Bom dia, boa tarde e boa noite. Sejam bem vindos a nossa página de rock, metal, conhecimento e curiosidades do mundo da música Saiu hoje o mais novo álbum do Nightwish.

   Um álbum que promete músicas mais pensativas, ocultas, com muitas mensagens subliminares e com a força, o instrumental de peso e o vocal delicado e carismático de Floor Jansen.

   Tuomas Holopainen se diz muito intusiasmado com esse novo álbum. Como ele mesmo diz Minha mente É um diário onde escrevo tudo o que vejo, sinto e penso. A música é minha forma de me comunicar com o mundo um tipo de terapia.

   Esse álbum se chama Yesterwynde. Questionado do porque desse nome Tuomas diz

   É uma palavra inventada. Há essa coisa chamada The Dictionary Of Obscure Sorrows. Isso me deu a ideia de que, se você não tem uma palavra em inglês para descrever uma certa emoção, você pode simplesmente criar a sua própria.

  Este dicionário em particular é dedicado a isso, como, a sensação de saudade por um lugar que você nunca esteve. Que sentimento é esse?

  E era algo estranho, eu me lembro. E este álbum nasceu de uma certa sensação que eu senti muito fortemente, mas eu não conseguia encontrar uma palavra na língua humana para descrevê-la. Então comecei a conversar com Troy [Donockley, multi-instrumentista] e disse, 'Devemos inventar uma nova palavra? Isso faz algum sentido para você?

     Agora devemos esperar para ver mais essa obra prima que tem data para ser lançada no segundo semestre desse ano . 

    Existe um rumor que diz que o Nightwish não pretende entrar em turnê por pelo menos dois anos . Mas talvez isso seja parte da surpresa que eles querem fazer .

 Good morning, good afternoon and good night everyone....

     Summary of the Sebastian Bach show in Curitiba on 04/27/24.. The show was held at the Torkn roll bar in Curitiba-Paraná-Brazil.

     This show marked the 35-year career of the musician who was once part of the great 80s Hard Rock band Skid Row.

    Let's summarize his career a little here..

     Bach was invited to join Skid Row in 1986 when guitarist Dave Sabo heard him singing at music producer Mark Weiss's wedding. Sabo sent him a videotape of the band playing, and Bach soon joined the band. After enjoying great commercial success as the lead singer of Skid Row, Bach was fired in 1996 because of his attitude and strong temper that always served as criticism for the media.

     He created Sebastian Bach and Friends (Sebastian Bach and Friends, in English) after leaving Skid Row (a band that received a new vocalist, Johnny Solinger, and a new drummer, Phil Varone). Later, Bach also appeared in Broadway productions such as The Rocky Horror Show and Jekyll and Hyde.

     In 1990, Bach performed with Guns N' Roses and Metallica on the same stage at a party sponsored by RIP Magazine; he used an improvised name for his band, The Gak.

     In October 2002, he was invited to perform on an American tour with the Jesus Christ Superstar production where he took on the role of Jesus. The performances were highly successful until April 2003, when Bach was fired for exhibiting star-studded behavior.

     He has a supporting role on the Warner Bros. television show Gilmore Girls as Gil, the guitarist in Lane Kim's band.

     Bach was widely criticized for giving a performance in 1989 wearing a T-shirt with the slogan "Aids, kills fags dead" written on it, an unfortunate parody of an insecticide commercial slogan that read "Raid, kills bugs dead" ("Raid, kill insects"). Since that date, Bach has continually apologized and repeated the expression "...that was really rotten, really stupid...". In an interview with Metal Hammer magazine, the singer was finally able to explain how that happened: "I don't usually go into depth about this, but I've seen so much misinformation on the subject that I'm going to explain myself. I didn't wear a fucking anti-gay t-shirt none at the MTV press conference. That's not true. I wore that shirt once in my life, in Irvine Meadows, California, after the band PANTERA opened for us, I was totally sweaty, so I said. : "Give me a fucking t-shirt to wear." Gerri Miller from Metal Edge magazine was there and asked for a picture of us all, so I just grabbed this horrible shirt that some fan had thrown on stage and put it on. which is the worst t-shirt ever, but I wasn't doing any kind of campaign."

     Currently Bach is on a solo career with his newest CD entitled "Angel Down" and despite being considered by critics the best work Bach did, it was not the best-selling in his career, Angel Down sold 100,000 copies, nothing compared to the more than 20 millions of copies that the other albums sold. Bach also features Axl Rose, lead singer of Guns N' Roses, on 3 tracks on his new album, with the two singing together a cover of Aerosmith's "Back in the Saddle" and two other songs titled "Stuck Inside" and " Love is a Bitchslap."

     With the departure of Scott Weiland from Velvet Revolver, Bach received a call from Slash to do some tests with the band, but Bach rejected the idea and said that he prefers to continue with his Angel Down tour but will work on another project with Slash.

     Sebastian Bach also helped Korn musicians create the music/soundtrack for the film Queen of the Damned, a song called Forsaken, which is sung by the lead singer of Disturbed, with the lyrics being his own.

     Nowadays Sebatian has an impeccable solo career, always having a charisma and vocal power that leaves everyone's mouth open.

     Maybe some mistakes from the past made him mature a lot and over time become a better version of what he once was.

     In the 80s there were many bands with the same style and their demands and what I can say analyzing many artists from that time, many grew and became more than stars, perhaps an example of maturity.

     On Saturday's show he showed that age is just a number, if you closed your eyes you would see Sebatian from 35 years ago there on the stage.

     The band's instrumental then... Simply incredible and made the crowd who were a bit shy interact with them.

     Curitiba is the city of rock and metal and they showed that rock and metal are what make people smile.

     During the show Bach made jokes with the audience.. Including with the nickname Tião (Tião was the affectionate nickname that crazy fans...

    Talvez alguns erros do passado fizeram ele amadurecer muito e com o tempo virar uma versão melhor do que foi um dia . 

    Nos anos 80 existia muitas bandas com o mesmo estilo e com suas exigências e o que eu posso dizer analisando muitos artistas daquela época muitos cresceram e viraram mais do que estrela , talvez um exemplo de maturidade .

    No show de sábado ele mostrou que idade é somente um número , se você fechasse os olhos via o Sebatian de 35 anos atrás ali em cima do palco.

    O instrumental da banda então ... Simplesmente incrível e fez a galera que estava um tanto quanto tímida interagir com eles .

    Curitiba é a cidade do rock e do metal e mostraram que o rock e o metal é o que fazem as pessoas sorrirem .

    Durante o show Bach fez piadas com o público .. Inclusive com o apelido Tião ( Tião era o apelido cariinhoso que os fãs alucinados deram a ele.

    Nesse show além dele cantar músicas da era do Skid Row ele , também cantou músicas de sua carreira solo e de seu último album solo Child WIthin The Man.

  O show emocionou a todos e inclusive ele mesmo que prometeu voltar mais vezes para cá....Desejamos a ele muito sucesso , paz e muito rock para ele .

Finntroll

      Bom dia , boa tarde e boa noite para todos os metalheads do brasil e do mundo . Hoje eu irei falar para vocês um pouco mais sobre uma banda de folk metal finlandes , chamado Finntroll . Sabemos que a algum tempo muitas bandas de folk metal de vários lugares do mundo começam a aparecer . Um com elementos ou instrumentos diferentes , porem com musicas intensas e profundas que mexiam com a imaginação do publico . Uma dessas bandas é o Finntroll.

       Good morning, good afternoon and good night to all metalheads in Brazil and the world. Today I’m going to tell you a little more about a Finnish folk metal band called Finntroll. We know that some time, many folk metal bands from around the world start to appear. One with different elements or instruments, but with intense and deep music that stirred the public's imagination. One of these bands is Finntroll.

      Finntroll was founded in 1997 with a line-up which included guitarist Teemu "Somnium" Raimoranta and vocalist/lyricist Jan "Katla" Jämsen. A year later they were joined by guitarist Samuli "Skrymer" Ponsimaa, drummer Samu "Beast Dominator" Ruotsalainen, keyboardist Henri "Trollhorn" Sorvali and bassist Sami "Tundra" Uusitalo, creating the first stable line-up of the band. The band's first demo, Rivfader, released the same year.

Their second album, Jaktens Tid, was released in 2001. The following summer, the band had their first time playing festivals in Finland and other countries.

      The year after the release of the album Jaktens Tid proved to be a misfortune for Finntroll: some tours had to be cancelled, and vocalist Jämsen had to retire from the band due to a viral-based tumor in his vocal cords which could not be removed surgically; he retired after the release of the EP Visor om slutet. The EP was recorded in early January 2003, in a forest cabin near Helsinki. It was an "acoustical experiment", where Jämsen and the new vocalist Tapio Wilska (of Sethian and Lyijykomppania) shared the singing duties among them. Visor om slutet was released as a mid-price EP and held rank on the Finnish midprice chart for several weeks.

     On March 16, 2003, shortly before the release of Visor om slutet, guitarist Teemu Raimoranta died when he fell off a bridge in Hakaniemi, Helsinki. Although they had lost their last remaining founding members in this tragic event, the band did not dissolve, but after some time decided to go on, touring Europe for two weeks, supported by the band Katatonia. Guitarist Mikael Karlbom was hired as a replacement for Raimoranta.

      In 2004, the band released an EP, Trollhammaren ("The Trollhammer"), a prequel to the soon to follow album Nattfödd ("Nightborn"). Also in 2004, Trollhorn stopped touring with the band, prompting touring musicians to be hired to fill the void left in his absence. Aleksi "Virta" Virta joined the band in an official capacity as second keyboardist in 2005.

      On January 29, 2006, Tapio Wilska, vocalist of the band since 2003, was fired from the band. In a statement issued on the band's website, Wilska stated that he would like to keep the reason for his dismissal private.

   Following Wilska's parting with the band, they decided to take on Mathias "Vreth" Lillmåns of Chthonian and Twilight Moon as a full-time member on vocals.

    A new album, titled Ur jordens djup ("From the Depths of the Earth"), was released March, 2007. This fourth album put more emphasis on epic keyboard riffs with very loud but melodic guitar. Former vocalist Katla was brought in to write the lyrics for this album, and continues in this capacity with the band. The last song contains an acoustic hidden track entitled Trollvisan which can be heard at 11:03 minutes. It is commonly believed to be the installment's "Aamund och Kettil song", yet there is no mention of the two priests in the lyrics, the song rather refers to "de kristna" ("the Christians") in general.

    The band has recorded a live performance for its upcoming first live DVD. A release date is yet to be confirmed. They have released their fifth album, titled Nifelvind("Underworld's Winds"), and Katla has again written the lyrics. The progress on the album was recorded by Trollhorn in a studio diary. On January 15, 2010 Finntroll released a music video for the new song "Solsagan" on their MySpace page in preparation for the album release. The new album was then released in February 2010.

The band's sixth studio album Blodsvept was released on March 25, 2013. 

     On May 13, 2014, drummer Samu Ruotsalainen revealed that he would be departing the band in July of that year; the parting was confirmed to be amicable by the band. He was replaced by Heikki "Mörkö" Saari.

     In June 2014, the band released a live album, Natten med de Levande Finntroll ("Night of the Living Finntroll"). Thomas Woroniak of RockRevolt Magazine stated "Natten Med De Levande Finntroll is a must-have for any dedicated Finntroll fan. Followers of the group have been waiting a long time for a live recording...the music is unique and vibrant in color and tonality, and the performance is exceptional." 

    On June 25, 2020, the band announced that their next album, titled Vredesvävd, would be released on September 18.

     This is a little bit of the history of this great band that grows and appears every year. During the pandemic, I did some interviews with some bands and one of the bands or (members that hosted this interview was Mathias, lead singer of finntroll) I will post this wonderful and fun interview soon ..
