   Bowie havia completado 69 anos a 3 dias atrás e o mesmo faleceu vitima de um câncer. Bowie morreu em paz hoje, cercado por sua família depois de uma corajosa batalha de 18 meses contra o câncer. 
   O nosso blog contará um pouco sobre a vida dessa grande lenda que acabará de nos deixar ... 

  David Robert Jones, Brixton, Londres, 8 de janeiro de 1947 - 10 de janeiro de 2016) foi um músico, ator e produtor musical inglês. Por vezes referido como "Camaleão do Rock" pela capacidade de sempre renovar sua imagem, tem sido uma importante figura na música popular há cinco décadas e é considerado um dos músicos populares mais inovadores e ainda influentes de todos os tempos, sobretudo por seu trabalho nas décadas de 1970 e 1980, além de ser distinguido por um vocal característico e pela profundidade intelectual de sua obra.

Embora desde cedo tenha realizado o álbum David Bowie e diversas canções, Bowie só chamou a atenção do público em 1969, quando a canção "Space Oddity" alcançou o quinto lugar no UK Singles Chart. Após um período de três anos de experimentação, que incluem a realização de dois significativos e influentes álbuns, The Man Who Sold the World (1970) e Hunky Dory (1971), ele retorna em 1972 durante a era glam rock com um alter ego extravagante e andrógino chamado Ziggy Stardust, sustentado pelo sucesso de "Starman" e do aclamado álbum The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.    Bowie had completed 69 years 3 months ago and the same victim died from cancer. Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous battle against cancer 18 months.

  David Robert Jones, Brixton, London, January 8, 1947 - January 10, 2016) was a musician, actor and English music producer. Sometimes referred to as "Chameleon of Rock" for the ability to always renew its image, it has been a major figure in popular music for five decades and is considered one of the most innovative pop musicians and still influential of all time, especially for his work in the 1970s and 1980s, and is distinguished by a distinctive voice and the intellectual depth of his work.

Hoje apesar de ser um dia triste, pois foi a algumas horas o que pode se dizer velório de Lemmy.... é uma data muito especial no mundo do heavy metal mundial , pois é aniversário de um dos maiores guitarristas do mundo:- Jimmy Page. Apesar de estar completando 72 anos, seu sorriso mostra que 
sua alma permanece sempre jovem. Ele sorri om os olhos, mostrando que foi e é uma pessoa feliz por ter feito durante toda a sua vida, algo que o empolgava...tocar e muito bem sua guitarra.
   Jimmy Page nasceu em 9 de janeiro de 1944, no subúrbio de Heston, em Middlesex, Londres, que hoje faz parte do Borough londrino de Hounslow. Filho único de James Patrick Page, um gerente industrial, e Patricia Elizabeth Page (nascida Gaffikin), uma secretária pessoal de um médico e cuja família tinha descendência irlandesa.Em 1952 eles se mudaram para Feltham, e depois novamente para Miles Road, Epsom, emSurrey, que foi onde Page se deparou com sua primeira guitarra. "Eu não sei se a guitarra foi deixada para trás pelos donos da casa antes de nós, ou se era um amigo do casal.   Depois de fazer alguns trabalhos com Micky Finn, e Carter Lewis and The Southerners Page dedicou-se por completo ao trabalho de estúdio, incluindo "Twist and Shout" de Brian Poole and The Tremeloes, "Just like Eddie" dos Heinz e em 1964, "Heart of Stone" dos Rolling Stones, "As Tears Go By" de Marianne Faithfull, "Tobacco Road" dos The Nashville Teens, “The Crying Game” de Dave Berry, e "Shout", de Lulu. O potencial musical da formação entretanto afundava-se devido aos conflitos interpessoais causados pelas constantes digressões e à falta de sucesso comercial.

Page decidiu deixar seu trabalho em estúdios quando a crescente influência da Stax Records na música popular levou à maior incorporação de arranjos orquestrais para gravações em detrimento das guitarras.

  Apesar da partida de Keith Relf e Jim McCarty em 1968, Page preferiu continuar com o grupo com uma formação nova e com o nome, The New Yardbirds. Após uma mão cheia de espectáculos realizados na sua primeira digressão, os “New Yardbirds” mudaram o nome para Led Zeppelin.

  As experiências passadas por Page em estúdio com os Yardbirds foram críticas para o sucesso dos Led Zeppelin na década de 1970. Após a separação dos integrantes da banda Led Zeppelin, em 1980, Page tentou dar forma a um super grupo com ex membros dos Yes que se chamaria XYZ mas que não deu em nada. Em 1982, foi convidado pelo realizador Michael Winner para gravar a trilha sonora do filme Death wish III. Page fez um retorno bem sucedido aos palcos com a série de concertos de caridade “ARMS Charity” em 1983. Page juntou-se a RoyHarper para a gravação de um álbum e digressão. Em 1984, gravou com Robert Plant “In the guise of The Honeydrippers”. Vários outros projectos se seguíram como The Firm, com Paul Rodgers, trabalho de estúdio para Graham Nash, Box of Frogs, e Robert Plant, um álbum a solo Outrider, uma colaboração com David Coverdale em Coverdale•Page, e um álbum ao vivo dos Black Crowes.

   Jimmy Page was born on January 9, 1944, in the suburb of Heston, Middlesex, London, now part of the London Borough of Hounslow. Every two months I had glandular fever. So for the next 18 months, I was living with ten dollars a week getting my strength. But I was still playing.

 At 14, Page entered the contest for discovering talents of ITV, "Search for Stars". After leaving school, I had the goal of working as a laboratory assistant, but his love for guitar and music made him change path. Neil Christian's The Crusaders, invited him to join the band, which brought him his first touring experience, and which first entered into a studio to record a single, "The Road to Love."

As a student, Page played often at the Marquee with bands like Cyril Davis All Stars, Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated and with guitarists Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton. One night was seen by John Gibb of Silhouettes, who asked him to help record some singles for EMI, "The Worrying Kid" and "Bald Headed Woman", but only after receiving an invitation from Mike Leander of Decca Records, is that Page began to have certain work as a studio musician. His first recording for the label was the single "Jet Harris & Tony Meehan," "Diamonds" which went to Number 1 in sales in the 1963 tables.

  After doing some work with Micky Finn and Carter Lewis & The Southerners Page devoted himself entirely to studio work, including "Twist and Shout" Brian Poole and The Tremeloes, "Just like Eddie" the Heinz and in 1964, "Heart of Stone" by the Rolling Stones, "As Tears Go By" Marianne Faithfull, "Tobacco Road" by The Nashville Teens, "The Crying Game" Dave Berry, and "Shout" by Lulu. Under the auspices of producer Shel Talmy, Page recorded "You really got me" the Kinks, (although there was a dispute over who had played "guitar solo" if Page or Ray Davies); recorded the guitar parts of "Baby please do not go" doThem and the guitar solo in the first single from The Who, "I can not explain", although in this case there is also a disagreement about whether to use this recording. After being invited to replace Eric Clapton in The Yardbirds in March 1965 Page declined the offer and suggested his friend Jeff Beck. In May 1966, drummer Keith Moon, bass player John Paul Jones, the teclistaNicky Hopkins, Jeff Beck and Page recorded "Beck's Bolero". The experience gave Page an idea to form a band with John Entwistle on bass (instead of Jones), however the lack of a quality vocalist and contractual problems sent the project down like a "lead zeppelin" (led). Past recently it was offered again to Page the opportunity to join the Yardbirds and at first played bass guitar with the group after the departure of Paul Samwell-Smith, until Chris Dreja moved to bass, passing Page to share the guitar with Jeff Beck. In 1994, Page meets with Robert Plant for the penultimate MTV "Unplugged". The 90-minute special called "Unledded" was awarded the highest in the history of the MTV audience. The soundtrack of this concert was published in 1995 as In the quarter. After a highly successful tour in 1995 for the dissemination of "No quarter", Page and Plant recorded Walking into Clarksdale in 1998, the first full CD together desde1979. Bandas antigas, novas, muita gente conhecida na apela, Genny Simons, Ozzy Osbourne e entre outros, que também vieram prestar as ultimas homenagens a mais um mostro do rock que parte. Entre risos e lágrimas, coisas boas, divertidas eram ditas entre goles de wisky Jack Daniels o preferido do Lemmy.  Como um meteoro sua passagem pelo universo do rock foi longa, marante e sua presença será sempre lembrada entre todos os que apreciam a boa batida do rock  Boa viagem Lemmy.

Já faz algum tempo que a mídia vem dizendo que o Guns n roses poderá a se reunir com a sua formação original nos palcos , mas a dúvida que passa em nossas cabeças é : Será que dessa vez isso realmente irá acontecer ou é mais um golpe de marketim , para chamar a atenção do público . Vale lembrar que a ultima vez que eles prometeram alguma coisa foi um cd que demorou um bom tempo para sair , mas saiu .
    De acordo com a assessoria dos membros da banda , parece que uma parte é só especulação , mas como os boatos estão se espalhando rápido eles não negaram nada , dando esperança para os fans mais amados da banda.

Olá para todos os metalheads do mundo . Hoje dia 04/01 é uma data muito importante no cenário do heavy metal mundial , pois nascia o grande Peter Steele .
   Ele que possuía uma voz única , uma presença de palco inigualável , e um ar sensual que atraia os olhares de muitas garotas que tinham o sonho de um dia estar ao lado dele . Peter possuiu duas bandas Carnivore e Type o negative e foi com ele que ele se consagrou no mundo do metal .  
   A maioria dos clipes do Type on negative possuíam muita senas sensuais misturados com filmes de terror , letras fortes e isso tudo era uma mistura perfeita para o carismático Peter Steele que ele fazia questão de usar e abusar nos palcos.
   Sua vos era grossa , forte , um tanto sussurrante que se adequava perfeitamente com as músicas da banda . 
  Por outro lado ele tinha um humor negro sádico e um tanto misterioso em suas turnês com a banda , nos shows e em entrevistas . 
    Porém infelizmente em 2010 essa vos e esse talento inato nos deixa , pois o mesmo sofreu um ataque cardíaco fulminante.
